   In terms of taste, mixing and content, I have to say I found this product pretty similar to other high quality protein powders. What I liked about this product, however, was that the company is reputable and appears to be produced in the US and independently tested. My main concern with protein powder is that it is safe to ingest and this product made me feel more confident that it was.

   Note that this is for vanilla and not chocolate even though the listing seems to be exclusively for chocolate. I really like this protein. It tastes great, mixes well and is everything I want in a protein shake, mostly. I’ll start out by saying that one of the ways I judge protein powder is by how many calories it “spends” on other things that are not protein. By calories, this powder is 88% protein. That’s a huge number. A lot of the very popular brands are closer to 70%, so when I see something this high it always gets me excited to try it. The consistency of this powder is like fine dry sand. In fact, it’s so fine that it does seem to get everywhere. It’s not so fine that you see a big cloud of mist rising up when you plop A scoop into a shaker, but it still seems to be fine enough to get everywhere. It just means that I have to be a little bit more careful putting my powder in the shaker to make sure that I don’t spill anything. It’s nothing like a deal breaker, but worth mentioning. The powder itself mixes very well with water, even without a shaker ball. It comes out smooth and creamy. My only complaint in this regard is that it seems to be somewhat foamy. In reality, adding defoamers raises the carbohydrate level, which I already complimented this protein on, so I can’t really complain about the foam thaaaat much. Once it’s mixed, the protein powder tastes really good, with no strong after taste. I feel like this would be good to mix with other things too since no after taste gives it a lot of other possibilities. Overall, I’m super happy with this protein.

   This review is for the chocolate flavor protein powder, the chocolate flavor comes through nicely and is not over powering so it does blend well with both fruit and vegetable smoothies. My go to has been spinach and kale as the chocolate does take off some of the bitterness of spinach and kale.

   25 grams of protein is fairly typical in most of the protein powders I am using and this provides that for an above average protein to calorie ratio with 120 calories (I usually see this north of 150 calories for 25 grams of protein). The protein powder blends up nicely in a protein shaker cup and does not precipitate out easily. The texture in the recommended serving amount in almond milk is smooth and not chalky.

   I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of this protein powder. It has a nice creamy chocolate flavor. Sometimes when switching protein powders, I might experience so mild gastrointestinal issues. However, I did not experience and negative effects with this powder. One scoop was enough powder for my shaker bottle. It has a good BCAA profile as well. The 5 lb tub cost slightly more than my regular budget protein powder but it tastes better and has been performing well for me.

    This protein supplement arrived in a double sealed container. The container has approximately 69 servings at the single scoop serving size. Each serving contains 25g of protein as well as a wide rang of amino acids. The chocolate flavor is ok but a little too much on the sweet side for my taste. The price is reasonable for the amount that you get with a little over a two month supply. The supplement is made in the US in a certified and inspected facility. I would recommend this product.

    This, “Whey Pro-FX protein powder in Vanilla flavor is as I expected based on it’s listing here. The flavor is, “Vanilla”, and the taste is typical, I didn’t find it to be an over-powering Vanilla flavor. The supplement Facts reads that each serving is 1 scoop (31.1g) and the jar should provide about 73 servings per container, and with each serving 25g of protein and 120 calories. The ingredients are fairly simple and not too numerous. Whey Protein Concentrate is the first listed ingredient, meaning it’s the most predominate. The jar’s label is also filled with plenty of information, which is something I like to see. There is a scoop enclosed in the container, however powders tend to settle, so I just weigh out the amount of powder I want. The serving suggestion is to mix 1 scoop (31.1g) with 8-10oz of water or your beverage of choice and that a person may want to vary the amount of liquid depending upon their preferred taste and consistency. I’ve used the full 31.1g serving with 10oz of water and I had no issue mixing it in a shaker cup. The powder is fine, and mixes well. The taste is pretty good, it’s a standard Vanilla taste, not too heavy. The mixed protein drink is pretty smooth, not chalky. Overall, this protein mix tastes good, is easy to drink, my stomach handles it fine. No complaints. I got what I expected.

    This is a delicious, filling, and easy to use protein mix. It tastes and smells like hot chocolate. The powder is fine and blends easily in a shake bottle. It will not work well if you try to mix it with a spoon. It blends easily in cold or room temp water. I use this after a run and it is refreshing and keeps me full for a bit. The container is huge and its a bit of a pain to find and extract the scoop but that’s just a one time problem.
