   The significant other is vegan and she was happy to check out this protein powder. She likes the ingredient list, with plant proteins that we already use (pea protein, chia protein, rice protein). We both appreciate that there’s less than 1 gram of total sugars per serving. The 40 gram serving size provides 140 calories. It has 22 grams of protein, with 8 grams of total carbohydrates and 4.5 grams of total fats (we can live with the 1.7 grams of Saturated Fats). So, the Nutrition Facts provide a healthy picture of this powder. She mixed it with almond cashew milk, and said it tastes pretty good. A good chocolate flavoring, but she thought it was a bit sweet. When i tasted the mix, I agreed that it was a bit sweet, too. To be fair, generally we consciously seek to minimize sugars, so we’re both a bit sensitive to sweet aspects. Again, the sweetness is due to the use of stevia, with the total sugars, per serving, at less than 1 gram, which is admirable. She poured the chocolate mix into the blender, added some banana and blueberries, making a smoothie. She even added a bit of cacao powder. A bit more almond cashew milk. Blended it into a smoothie. It turned out perfect. The drink was thicker, more chocolate flavor, the sweetness seemed lessened. The resulting drink was perfect. And, it packed plant protein and the healtny aspects/benefits of the added fruits. She gave this plant protein powder a thumbs up, said she can see using this daily in coffee or afternoon smoothies. The quality vegan ingredients, favorable nutrition facts and good flavor, measured with her thumbs up 👍 earns this product a 4.5 – 4.75 star rating, with a high level recommendation.

   Summary: I ordered this product for my wife. I use this too for a quick protein based snack in the afternoons. The cacao base with a touch of Stevia results in a pleasant flavor. We like that the ingredients are natural. Pros: Reasonable cost $1.88/serving. Cons: Does not blend well; consistency is a little slimy; not made in the USA. Conclusion: At $30 for 16 servings, rating this 3-stars (consistency).

   This, “Berry Fit, V-Pro Plant Based Protein + SuperFoods” powder for me was a bit deceptive in it’s packaging. When I see, “Berry”, the pink container, I am thinking there is going to be some type, at least subtle, “Berry” flavor. Nope, this stuff is very bland, neutral in taste. You can drink this stuff by itself, but, it’s best to mix it with other things. The packaging is nice, this is a tin jar containing 650g of protein powder. The label has all the important information on there – Ingredients, company information, suggested serving, etc. The Supplement Facts reads that each serving is 40g and one should get 16 servings per container, and with each serving 20g of protein. The ingredients are simple, and this protein powder includes many various types of proteins. The ingredients are: – Rice Protein – Chia Protein – Pea Protein – Pea Starch – Dried Cranberries Powder – Berries (Raspberry, Strawberry, Goji, Acai) Dehydrated Powder – Chicory Root Fiber (Prebiotic) – Stevia There is a scoop enclosed in the container, however powders tend to settle, so I just weigh out the amount of powder I want. The label reads that 2 scoops should give you about 40g of the protein powder. The jar recommends 40g of the protein powder with 500ml of water. I first tired this in a shaker cup. The shaker cup worked alright with only a few small clumps. The consistency, though, was like that of a thin batter. I’ve drank stuff like this before, so, I did it, but, it was a bit, “Blah”. Also, this stuff has no Berry flavor, it just tastes like an unflavored protein drink. This protein powder is alright, but unless you want to drink something unflavored, you’re going to want to mix this powder with something else in a smoothie, whatever. I’ve done so, mixing this protein powder with some other stuff, and it goes down about the same as any other protein shake I make with other stuff added to it. This protein powder is alright, my stomach handles it fine, though the packaging is a bit deceptive with the, “Berry” on it. I did not detect much of any flavor. Product of Chile.

   I’m not sure if I got a bad canister but this is the weirdest protein I have ever tried and certainly won’t be finishing the container. I mixed this in my blender bottle and it just turned into this thick sludge that I can only describe as jello with large chunks. I couldn’t even finish one serving (two scoops) of this stuff. Look else for vegan and keto friendly proteins

   This protein is perfect for smoothies, I wouldn’t recommend mixing just with water though, it’s fruity enough for some added flavor but it definitely needs the flavor from other elements like in a smoothie. There is also craisins sprinkled throughout this powder so it has real fruit in it as well.

   I had previously tried Brota’s spirulina powder, which comes in a canister similar to this but smaller, and I liked that canister. I like it less here. The lid does not fit tightly to the canister. It’s not falling off or anything, but I’m a little concerned that I could grab this wrong and have the lid fly off and powder going everywhere. Unfortunately, this is not unique to this single canister. Aside from this Berry Fit flavor, I have a chocolate version and a greens version of this same powder in identical canisters (aside from the labels), and this issue occurs in all 3 canisters. Aside from the issue with the lid, I like that this has a ton of protein, a lot of fiber, and it has almost no sodium. This is basically a protein/fiber powder. It mixes well enough, though I did have some clumps of cranberry powder, and it does not taste gritty. It’s also not particularly chalky as far as protein powders go. The main problem I have here is that there is no berry taste. This is basically an unflavored protein/fiber powder. On the one hand, that means that there are no restrictions on what I can mix with this to provide flavor. On the other hand, if I had wanted unflavored powder, I would have ordered unflavored powder. Also, $30 for 16 servings is a bit much.
