   I absolutely love this product and the price on bestproteinpowder4women.net is way better than at any grocery store. It tastes better than any other protein powder I’ve tried! I put it in my cereal and oatmeal year-round and in smoothies in summertime!! It’s the best. However this time when I ordered it the container came damaged with a huge dent in the bottom! so it doesn’t stand straight up and is wobbly. Luckily it’s not cracked… but I am a little disappointed with this specific delivery, however I plan on staying loyal to the product.

   This Vega Protein it perfect, I have tried a lot of Protein in my years, I found that for today, I will be using this one for awhile. Its very fine power, so be careful because it will get all over. It mixes the best for me with Orange Juice, I tried water and milk, not too good, didn’t like the water at all. In every serving there is 1.2 cups of Green, which being single I don’t eat much of, so this is very important too me, it as 20 g, of multi source plant -based protein. The Serving size is 1 scoop with each container having about 25 serving. Protein per serving is about 20 g. You can mix in a shaker or a Blender, I just use a shaker. I try to have 1 serving every morning, the serving are filling also, so a lot times I do not have Breakfast. I always make sure days that I am going to the Gym, that use this.This product always come with a scoop.

It tastes like the product I know and love but was a little weirded out by the packaging the Best Buy date says 2/NO/2019 thought that was a little off. Pea protein keeps you full longer too! My favorite flavor is Berry and I mix it with lactose-free milk and frozen raspberries and/or blueberries.     This Vega protein and greens tub of chocolate powder is SO delicious. I’ve tried many different shakes: Shakeology, Isagenix, Slimfast, Body by Vi are just to name a few – and I was so tired of spending so much money on products from MLM companies. This is the first powder shake that doesn’t upset my stomach and it tastes DELICIOUS! It doesn’t have an artificial flavor to it and is really sweet. I normally mix it with fruits, frozen strawberries and vanilla almond milk and it fills me up, instead of still feeling hungry. Honestly, I purchased this to replace a meal during the day, as I’m making smarter and healthier choices for my other two meals. It’s also really quick and easy to throw in a blender and have a quick meal. After doing some research on meal replacement shakes, I found this one to be lower in sugars than other shakes out on the market – and the price is exceptional for the large tub that you get. An extra bonus that you don’t normally get in powdered shake mixes is that this includes two servings of greens, which you don’t taste at all. Seriously, the chocolate is really sweet, but not overpowering and as soon as I finish this tub, I’m excited to try the vanilla version that I can jazz up with fruits as well! You use one scoop per shake and the tub will make 25 shakes – which will last me a few months, as I don’t drink this on a daily basis (I have to mix up my lunches, otherwise I’ll get bored).     This stuff is amazing! I hate protein shakes. I’ve tried a bunch of different brands. Firstly, I couldn’t get past the chalky texture. Secondly, the taste was always awful. Thirdly, I would find myself nauseas after drinking them. I went through the ingredients and found they all had whey or concentrated milk. I was having bariatric surgery May 13th and the Dr’s had a vegan formula, so I bought 2 bags at $60 each. It’s the only thing you can drink to reach the 60-80g of protein required daily while recovering. The stuff I had was chalky and tasted awful. Needless to say, I wasn’t meeting even half of my protein goals, making me weaker by the day. I read the reviews and decided to give Vega a try. I was not disappointed! It’s a little too sweet, but the chocolate has a coconut hint which reminds me of an almond joy. Who doesn’t love almond joys?! There’s minimal grit too. I just tell my brain it’s little coconut bits. I also use Fairlife milk that’s lactose free, since my surgery makes a lot of people lactose intolerant. Thank you Vega!     New Vanilla Flavor Update: 10/24/18 I was really worried about trying the new vanilla flavor after enjoying the old version for so long. The reviews were rough so I held out for a few months. It IS sweeter than the older version, but I’ve found that by filling my shaker bottle with ice, a scoop of protein powder, a tablespoon of matcha (or cacao in the evening), cold water, and a splash of sugar free almond milk makes a truly delicious treat. If I’m feeling extra I’ll add a splash of vanilla and some pumpkin spice/cinnamon. I wouldn’t use this in a fruit smoothie in Vanilla. Perhaps another flavor would be a better fit for that. I should also add that my newest tub in large was completely sealed and no bugs or critters were inside. I dumped it out to make sure. I will be sticking with this brand for now! Original Vanilla Review: I love this protein powder in vanilla! I like to have it in the morning with a tablespoon on Matcha – which really makes it taste like a matcha latte. I’ve also started adding a couple tablespoons of Cacao Powder for a nice chocolately twist. Highly recommend! I’m also attaching a picture of the seal on my small canister upon arrival. No holes in the safety seal. Hopefully they have fixed the problem other reviewers were having with opened seals.

    FALSE ADVERTISING! Greatly disappointed! I was so excited to start this after reading about it here on bestproteinpowder4women.net. The numbers looked perfect. The ingredients looked perfect. I thought I came across such a winner. I received it today & almost immediately tore into it. This was going to really assist me in reaching my goals & my diet is so particular that every single thing I put in my body matters greatly. EVERY thing. I had a shake. It tasted good. I was so happy this wasn’t going to be something I’d need to choke down to reach my ideal macros. But then I referred to the canister’s nutritional label to enter my numbers & became very disappointed, confused & upset. I was lied to. Intentionally or not- the result is the same. I did not receive what I ordered. I ordered what I did because of what was advertised. If the information had been correct I never would’ve ordered this. I’ve attached two pictures for reference. The left is the one on the site that incited my eagerness to order it, the photo on the right is what I received. It’s the same “kind”- flavor & such, but the nutritional info & ingredients are NOT the same at all. In light of this, I will also never be purchasing another Vega product again which is unfortunate but how can I be certain I will receive what I’m wanting to receive?

    This protein caused me to bloat. I don’t have a six pack, but my stomach is ok. I can wear form fitting clothing and nobody is talking bad about me. I took it for a week and my stomach looked like I was pregnant. Protruding outward like a ball. I ended up doing a liquid fast for a day to bring it down.(Not fun) It worked, but I still had a little bit of bloat left after that. The photo of me after still has some bloat. The taste is meh 😕 I got vanilla and I mixed it with water then I did oat milk and then fruit and i still couldn’t mask the taste. It isn’t gross. U wouldn’t gag. I struggle with protein powder flavor. I found it hard to blend it. I had to mix for a long time to get it to have a smooth texture. It’s unfortunate because I had high hopes. It’s natural and doesn’t have a bunch of unnecessary fillers.

    I like trying new supplements. In the last couple years, I’ve moved away from protein powders simply because eating “actual” food is more satiable. Lately, I’ve incorporated protein powders into my diet for the sake of timing/speed to get to adhere to my schedule. I typically consume a protein shake (I keep it simple – in water, whole milk or sometimes nut based milk) or mix into oatmeal for breakfast in the mornings after I workout. No, I don’t believe in the anabolic-window bro science. I’ve tried basically every protein type (isolates, concentrates, blends, casein, etc.) out there and almost every brand. I prefer pure casein because I like my protein thick and casein will do that. I keep seeing vega everywhere I go (I’ve bought their protein/snack bars numerous times here – delicious) and got me interested in plant based protein. The only protein powder I’ve bought in the past that had plant protein was SAN’s Metaforce and DYMATIZE’s Elite XT (before reformulation). the soy protein was listed latter but it always had a nutty taste to it similar to soy beans. Anyways, saw a deal pop up for VEGAs protein+greens here and pulled the trigger. I always do my due diligence before buying a product so I knew this was stevia sweetened and i HATE stevia. no matter what you do, there is that gross (to me) aftertaste of stevia. I researched everywhere to find a sucralose or any artificially sweetened plant protein but to no avail. I get it – these brands want to promote a “healthy” “lifestyle” by using organic ingredients but from what I’ve read stevia also goes under a lot of processing. anyways, I hate stevia. with that being said the protein wasn’t too bad. it had a green/brown color and smelled earthy. I liked the fact that this powder was not as powdery as some milk based proteins (where regardless of how careful you are, the powder goes everywhere). it can be easily mixed with a smooth and dissolved quickly without chunks. now taste…this is purely subjective but i definitely did not get ANY hint of vanilla and yes, I got that horrid stevia aftertaste. from a sweetness standpoint its in the middle (tried with with 8oz of water, whole milk and cashew milk). I also mixed it in oats and consistency wise it was on par with a casein blend protein. not watery but not too thick. macros…110 calories for 20grams of protein in a 30gram serving size….so 10grams of “greens + filler_” overall I would have enjoyed this protein more if it wasn’t sweetened by stevia. i would have been ok if they threw in actual sugar and maybe some erythritol ontop of that. i think they could easily get away with 130 calories a scoop with the added sugar and erythritol is basically negible. Keep in mind (for men) 1 serving contains 30% of your RDA of Iron.

    It does not say anywhere on the packaging that it has caffeine in it but digging deeper on the website it says that there’s 25 mg of caffeine in each serving for the chocolate one. I didn’t know that and I took some before bed and I couldn’t sleep.I don’t drink coffee or tea with caffeine so this is not the best choice.

    So since I enjoy chocolate I thought this would be a great shake for me. So far it’s been good. it seems to have a lot of nutrients in it but the one thing that was a bummer to me, is that there is not usda organic stamp on it. perhaps if there was i’d like it more. other than that it does mix well. I like this flavor too. the powder is pretty finely grounded. I did would have rated this 5 star but considering the higher price and also the fact that the seal had holes in it was concerning to me. however other than them couple of pointers, id consider this a fairly good shake with quality nutrients. in my opinion flavor on point as well as texture. I noticed it definitely helped me curb my appetite and has been a good tool in my weight loss routine. great way to get the nutrients in with out taking it them carbs.

    There’s something wrong with this product now. I’ve been getting it for over a year without issue, but I opened a fresh container that was extremely hard to get the lid off of due to what I suspect was pressure buildup, and inside there was nearly double the amount of product that was supposed to be in there via the fill line. It looked different than usual in texture as well, and when I tried mixing it with plain water it bubbled and gained a strange frothy scummy layer on top. Not normal for this product at all, plus it smelled a bit “off”. I’m seeing complaints of similar experiences and people getting sick (I didn’t drink this due to suspected product contamination). My recommendation is to skip this particular product.

    Das Pulver schmeckt super, hat aber den typischen sandigen Nachgeschmack eines (veganen) Proteinpulvers, was mich aber überhaupt nicht stört und durch Sojamilch oder Obst super überdeckt wird.
    Kleines Manko: Es schmeckt nicht so super wie das vega One chocolat, dass GAR NICHT sandig schmeckt, dafür aber meinen Tagesbedarf an Vitaminen nicht so gut abdeckt.

Add a banana to thicken up the consistency for a great after workout drink. Note of caution: check the dates on the product when you receive it. My wife and I both received our orders on 4/21/24 from bestproteinpowder4women.net. The manufacture date on both tubs was September 2022 and they both expire in four months (pics attached). A bit disappointing to receive a food product that was already 1 1/2 years old.

    UPDATE 11/29/17: so in order not to waste this expensive product I used a partial scoop to mitigate the sweetness. However, my jar now has now produced non-vegan protein—maggots! Ugh! I’m not kidding. I’ve only used about five servings before these hatched inside the jar. This is really bad people. I don’t know where this product is being manufactured, but buyer beware!!! This truly trumps my previous review. See pics taken this morning. Original review: At first sip, it was overpowering sweetness. I don’t eat sugar and try to avoid more than a drop full of the stevia at a time. The texture and taste otherwise are what’s expected from a pea-based powder, but a full 10 minutes later I still can’t get the aftertaste of the stevia and fake cherry out of my mouth! Every time I walk past the sink where I opened the stuff, I can smell the stevia. The seal was also punctured as others noted. I bet it was done by the manufacturer to release the unnatural smell of this stuff. I immediately cancelled my subscription to this product. Back to looking for a truly sweetener-free protein powder.     Really, Vega is the best protein powder I’ve tried and I’m sticking with it. For those concerned about getting your money’s worth and/or counting the calories, make sure you check the scoop size. Both Vega containers that I have purchased have a scoop labeled “62 CC”. But the package says “Serving size 1 scoop (30 g)” and 120 calories. Using the oversized scoop more than doubles the calories and reduces the number of servings you get by one-half. Conversion charts show 30cc = 30 grams.
