   Digests great (no stomach aches, gas or bloating), tastes like a mild peanut butter and mixes well in my smoothies HOWEVER it does make a VERY thick smoothie and requires A LOT of powder to get those 22g of protein (the scoop is huge!) but i just add a little extra almond milk and it thins my
   smoothie out quite nicely.
   Other hemp protein powders have always given me digestive upset, but not this one! I did my research and now i now understand why—other cheaper hemp powders use the hulls of the hemp seed as well as the seed, these guys don’t. Youre getting 100% protein with this product versus “other guys” using the hulls which actually causes the digestive upset! If you’re a fan of hemp protein powders, you won’t be disappointed in this one!

   I’ve been using this product for about 6 months. Taste is not an issue for me, I use two scoops in a morning shake with blueberries, banana, ginger, cucumber, and kefir and I do not taste it at all. No problems with it not dissolving. And no issues with my gut!
   22 grams of protein in one scoop is honestly great and I love the fact that it is super clean, no other ingredients or preservatives or flavorings.

   I’ve tried a lot of protein powders and this one is kind of squarely in the middle for me. It’s unsweetened and unflavored, so it kind of takes on the taste of whatever you’re using it in. There is only one ingredient, hemp hearts, so it naturally has a sort of earthy nutty flavor that I think works really well with peanut butter. I really like how natural it is and how versatile it is without a flavor/sweetener.

   This is my first time trying a Hemp Heart Protein Powder. I wanted to try this brand since it’s Organic. I like that there aren’t any added ingredients or sweeteners. See photo of label on the bag. -Taste: I was prepared for a bad taste after reading other reviews. I will admit I have been adding a much smaller amount to my coffee in the morning so that the taste blends in well. This powder does not smell good, so I assume it does taste horrible if you don’t mix it with something tasty. This powder comes with a gigantic measuring spoon (see photo), and I know it would likely taste bad if I added all of that Hemp Heart Powder to my drink. So my recommendation would be to start with smaller amounts, work your way up, and play with it blending with various drinks or smoothies. If you are looking for something healthy, I really think an Organic version of Hemp Heart Powder would be the way to go, and this company provides that. -The powder is very fine, and blends well with my coffee. It is easy to use as you just scoop it from the bag, and the bag has a zip-lock for closure. -I did not notice any negative effects while using this product.

   When I read the previous reviews, I thought to myself, “This must be someone who has never experienced hemp protein.” Oh boy, was I wrong… Have you ever been on a construction site and smelled dust, drywall, and fresh-cut wood? I hate to say this, but Hempp New Performance Organic Hemp Heart Protein Powder captures that exact scent. This is such an odd product. Maybe if you mix it heavily with fresh or frozen berries, nut butters, or flavored yogurt, you might be able to mask the flavor. However, this protein powder left me wondering if anyone tested it before releasing it. Additionally, the package comes in a massive bag that is only about 15% to 20% full. For a product that claims to be organic, natural, and the best of the best, why use five times more plastic than necessary? From the flavor, scent, and misleading packaging to the general feeling of “why am I drinking this,” I would confidently say this product needs to go back to the drawing board.

   Kudos to this company for producing a protein with healthy ingredients! No additives or so called natural flavors which is truly a chemical. It is an increasing number of consumers that want regenerative farming beyond organic that will keep us out of the doctors office getting a prescription for too many different illness. Please know this company has many supporters ordering their hemp protein because it’s clean, simple, and for great health not based on taste!

   This Hempp new performance organic hemp heart protein powder is alright. It has an almost rotten scent to it upon opening the bag but once you mix it in with something you can’t hardly tell it’s there. The powder is slightly grainy and it leaves a bit of an aftertaste in the back of my mouth. The powder arrived very fresh with an expiration date out about a year and a half from receiving it.

   This is by far the most disgusting tasting hemp protein powder I’ve ever tried. It leaves a bad after taste in the mouth and actually doesn’t even smell that great in the package. It’s a shame because it’s a whole pound. I wanted something organic with no added ingredients, coloring, preservatives so I gave this a shot. I will not be finishing the product I purchase and won’t buy this again.

    This isn’t a product I’d love to drink straight mixed with water or milk but it’s great to adid into smoothies or oatmeal for an added protein boost. I like earthly natural flavors (for some reason just makes me feel like it’s healthier even though it’s just perception) and this is milder than other brands I’ve tried but may be a turn off for some.

    My favorite use is in hot oatmeal although it would probably also work in overnight oats; I prefer it to other flavored whey powders because they’re usually way too sweet as a food additive. For hot oatmeal, make the oatmeal first and then stir it in last.

    So, it fills a small niche for me but won’t replace my much more palatable drinking whey protein options. The price is also a deterrent as it’s almost double per pound the price of a quality whey protein.

    I did not like the taste of it at all. Not my cup of tea. I did like the nutrition information. Just have to power through the taste. It even has less calories than your normal cup of protein, so I didn’t feel too bad while taking it. I used some lactaid which made it taste a bit better because it was sweeter, but I preferred to drink it with water because I wanted to maximize my health benefits and make myself more full.
