   I used to buy an $80 brand of Pumpkin Seed Protein but with our times got to be too pricey for our entire family! I like getting my growing boys extra CLEAN protein without all the added fillers/junk. THIS is perfect!! I mix in yogurts, smoothies and have even sprinkled on top of PB toast!!    I like this and plan to buy it again, but it’s not going to please everyone. It has a strong taste that reminds me of the way dried grass smells. I wouldn’t put it in a fruit drink, or in anything sweet. It’s good in a tomato-based sauce and not bad mixed with a little olive oil and spread on a cracker.
   Things I like about it:
   1. It has lots of iron, which other protein powders I’ve tried don’t have.
   2. It doesn’t puff all over the place and make a mess when you scoop it.
   3. It mixes in well if you stir it a minute or so.
   It won’t be my only protein powder but it will be one of them.

   I bought this brand based on reviews while looking for a less expensive option for pumpkin protein powder. What a let down. It’s tan-brown versus green. It has a chemical taste versus a nutty pumpkin seed flavor. I’m giving it 2 starts because it is edible – if I add vanilla to my mix and try to forget how yummy the other option is. I’m too frugal to just pitch it, but am I looking forward to going back to the green nutty delicious option.

   The bag arrived intact and the resealing zipper works well.

   I ordered this one because I needed a complete protein without sodium. This one is an excellent source. It is a little lighter in color and a bit pricier based on the servings but the protein is great. I will definitely purchase again.
