While this is not the worst protein powder we have ordered (it is slightly below average), it is not anything that I would order again. It has issues dissolving which leaves the grittiness… and though milk helps cover it up, I am sure that the chocolate helps with the taste as well. Since we use this for protein supplementation and not for weight gain we use less powder, which means that it will probably be worse for other uses that require more powder.

At 50USD for 40servings, it is also more expensive that others that I prefer. While I am not anti-vegan, I do typically tend to prefer the non-vegan formulas as they are usually dissolve better and they are usually more value priced. I do not recommend any of the products that I find gritty, so I am rating this three stars for those of you that can tolerate this. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary…

I really wanted this to be good, but it isn’t. I tried it with water, and it was sour. I tried it with milk, and still it was sour. I even tried it with flavored almond milk. No matter how many different ways I tried it, the sour taste overpowered it. I gave it many chances and it just isn’t my type. It doesn’t have any flavor to it other than just sour. That’s it. It doesn’t smell or taste like it went bad. It just doesn’t work well with my taste buds.
