   I was excited to find a protein with a flavor of ‘rocket pop’, because I remember having those as a kid! I didn’t have very high expectations for the taste, but I was hopeful. I was really surprised by how good this clear protein tastes! It might not taste exactly like rocket pops, but it comes quite close. If you mix it with ice and water it’s very refreshing on a hot day and especially good right after a workout. It has a gatorade-type flavor, if gatorade came in rocket pop flavor.

   This protein also mixes very well. I got the best results using either a shaker bottle or a handheld mixer. I would recommend mixing it with at 12-16 oz of water (I found it a bit sweet when I mixed with only ~8 oz). This protein has only 90 calories per serving but contains 20g of protein. I like to drink this right after a workout or in the afternoon if I need something to tide me over until dinner. I feel like because this protein is clear, it doesn’t feel as heavy and filling as regular whey protein. Overall, I am impressed with this clear protein in terms of taste, texture, and mixability and would recommend it.

   I am a huge fan of Transform and love their shakes and electrolyte powders. Rocket pop is one of my favorite flavors in their hydration series so I was anxious to taste this. It is great, such a super easy way to get some extra protein. I love it for the mid-afternoon slump and at 90 calories it helps keep me full before dinner so I don’t over eat. The powder is super easy to measure and mix, I didn’t experience any clumpiness. I love the water to really cold before I mix it, the powder just tastes so much better. I have a sweet tooth and Transform does a great job always satisfying that for me.
