   One of my major reasons for buying this product is because it comes in plastic jugs with a lid because they’re easy to seal and I work in a harsh environment where they could otherwise become contaminated. The image for the product shows it in plastic jugs. Instead it arrived in a foil bag that doesn’t even have it zip lock. Kinda mad. Not returning it because i’m out of protein powder but that’s the only reason.

   Protein came in a bag, not a tub, and so they fashioned this little clip/scoop combo to close the bag with. They then added measuring lines on the outside of the scoop. Cute idea in concept, but a couple of flaws with the design. One, don’t show a tub of protein on the page, then send me a bag. Two, the lines are grooved on the outside of the scoop, and they pick up a line of protein every time you pull it out, and it always leaves some level of mess that has to be cleaned up. It would be a good protein if not for their cost cutting/cutesy ideas.

   Syntrax is a great brand of protein. I have been using for years. The mint cookie is a great flavor. My son uses it to make ice cream with his ice cream machine. Well worth the price. My son (age 17) is obsessed with this product.

   Devo ammettere di averlo comprato per il prezzo, ma ne sono rimasta piacevolmente stupita. Sembra davvero di bere uno shaker con vero burro di arachidi. L’unica pecca è che nelle istruzioni c’è scritto di usare un misurino per pesare il prodotto, ma il misurino in questione non è fornito nella confezione (poco male, visto che ho ancora il misurino di un’altra marca)
   Preparatelo e shakerate anche la sera prima e mettetelo in frigo e la mattina dopo avrete una colazione fresca perfetta per questo caldo sahariano.

   I’ve been obsessed with fitness and bodybuilding for over 20 years. I’ve tried dozens of different brands and flavors of protein powders over the years. I know Syntrax is a quality company, so I switched to this protein from another product/brand. I love this stuff! It tastes good, it mixes really well and it digests really well for me. No bloating or gas. It’s also very reasonably priced! $28 for 2 pounds is amazing for quality protein. I love that it also contains egg white protein as well as whey and micellar Casein I will be ordering lots more and I can’t wait to try other flavors!

   Have been using Matrix protein for several years now, back when they were initially sold in plastic jugs and not these new bags. The new bags used to come with a somewhat large desiccant card added to reduce moisture in the bag, though the plastic jugs they used to sell never had this. The card was somewhat visible and you could remove it, I only once accidentally blended the card in my vitamix and had to dump the blend. The last bag I purchased seemed to not have any card in it, so I thought Syntrax opted to remove it completely. I blended up a shake after a workout and heard my Vitamix labor for a second but work through whatever it was caught up on, I though it was a frozen banana I added, but it wasn’t. Upon first gulp, I choked on what was red chopped up pieces of plastic, a new style desiccant pack that was small enough to have gotten up in the scooper and into my shake without my noticing. I was able to hack the rest of the plastic up but I had already ingested the blended desiccant. I had to dump the shake and comb through the remaining bag for any more packs for which I found another. I just ordered another bag and this time, same thing, I dug out the desiccant pack that was already lodged in the scoop when I pulled it out. Syntrax needs to do better with this, either omit the desiccant packs entirely, or more folks could get injured/hurt as a result of these tiny packs getting into the scoop unnoticed and ingested causing harm. Overall the protein continues to be some of their best yet, blends great, mixes with a spoon or with a blender easily, is some of the lowest priced protein around but still remaining a mid-tier quality blend. The one thing is to remove that desiccant each and every time and keep it out of your bag, or risk ingesting desiccant and having to spend time at the hospital or doctor at added cost to you and not Syntrax.

   As far as protein powders go, it’s a fav – easily blends, full of good stuff. I trust it as someone who tries to be mindful about what they put into their body. A little pricier? Yes, but quality of ingredients is the payoff. Really like the included scoop/bag clip – I keep them attached so I don’t have to fish for the scoop inside the packaging or search drawers. As far as flavor…it ain’t the full chocolate-y yum-yum you’re craving if you’re into that (and I am). It’s actually pretty mild and a little…boring? Not unpalatable by any means, just not rich-tasting. The Snickerdoodle is the best in my opinion, but wanted to try something different. I mix it with iced coffee for something mocha-y, and/or coconut/almond milk and collagen peptides, with ice or without, no problems with chunks or graininess, mixes real smooth. Overall I FULLY recommend this protein powder, but ‘perfect chocolate’ might be stretching it, thus the four stars.

    It tastes amazing. Mixes well(no lumps) & the vanilla taste is not too strong. I like putting fruit in my smoothies & other brands tasted chalky even with fruit & the vanilla didn’t mix well with the othwr flavors. I made a blueberry shake yesterday & it tasted great. I’m hooked.

    I’m gonna be confusing. I’m giving it 5 stars but 3 on here.

    5 because unbiased, altogether, this is great. No problems with the seller, shipping went smooth, product was great, it blended nicely, & tastes like yummy strawberry milk. No chalky flavor or grittiness. It was really good.

    3 because biased, I had some issues. Still no problems with the seller or shipping. I’d recommend the seller to others. The product was also goodish. It was smooth & did blend nice. Wasn’t chalky & no grittiness. The downside was it tasted like milk. I was expecting more of a cream flavor. Milk tastes gross. I tried adding strawberry/chocolate syrup/powder to tone down the milk but it didn’t work.

    If you love strawberry milk, you’ll love this. If you don’t like the taste of milk, it’s probably not for you. I’d use the seller for something else though.

    I’m drinking this as a meal replacement and it does a great job of killing hunger. It’s better in that respect than other proteins I’ve tried. It does not mix perfect in my shaker cup. Sometimes it has chunks. Other products I’ve used mixed much better. The flavor is very subtle. I was looking forward to tasting the banana and can barely pick it up in the flavor pallet. The packaging is not good. The bag is made such that it doesn’t open well. you have to jam your hand into a small opening as opposed to bags that actually open properly and have space for your hand to scoop out the protein. So, while this protein doesn’t have great taste (as advertised) and mix well (as advertised), it does a good job of staving off hunger. All of that to say, depending on what you want, this stuff might work for you.

    Tried this brand out for the first time and so far I’m liking their product, the banana cream flavor is pretty good and it doesn’t have that artificial banana laffy taffy kind of taste like other brands. Mixes together in whatever liquid pretty easily and I haven’t had any clumps yet (always use a blender though). They also use egg white protein in their powder which is a plus.
