This poroduct is AWESOME! A high potent source of natural proiten, mild taste and makes great smoothies. With this product I do not need to add bananas (extra calories or yogurt( latose) to get a smooth consistency..BEST VALUE FOR PROTEIN THAT I HAVE FOUND ANYWHERE.. I am about to make my fifth re-order.
Thank you Swanson.

I’m 54 years old. I’ve tried about every major brand of regular whey protein on the market over the last twenty years. All of them, to some degree, caused me gastrointestinal issues. Some, worse than others, but all of them made it rough to be consistent.
Finally, after waiting far too long, I decided to try Goat Whey. While I can’t say this would be the case for everyone, I have experienced absolutely zero gastro related issues.
The taste? Straight, with water, it reminds me of a cream heavy milk. “Goaty”? Maybe a little, but nothing significant, and it is goat whey…so I would expect that to be the case.
Mixes great in a blender.
I think I’ve found something that I’ll be buying for the foreseeable future.

Seems like goat whey. Not sure exactly what that is. Tangy. Just trying it to see how it would work. Well, my thumb started hurting a couple of weeks into taking it. Not sure if I’m getting arthritis or the protein is giving me goat gout! I stopped taking it. Maybe my body doesn’t break down goat protein well or maybe it is just happenstance. Anyways, not sure if I helped.

The most horrible chalky-textured whey I’ve ever tried. Unpalatable. I’ve had other goat wheys that were much more pleasant to drink than this one.

I have to say I was a bit nervous about trying goat whey protein because of what I thought it might taste like. However, since I cannot use regular whey protein (lactose intolerant), I was willing to try this product. My first time making a smoothie with this protein it did have a bit of a bitter after taste. It reminded me a lot of a milder after taste that you get from eating Chobani greek yogurt. Certainly not horrible tasting, but definitely more bitter. In my second smoothie I added a tablespoon of agave. This did the trick! No more bitter after taste. This protein has been great. I have no bloating or unsettled stomach issues like I did with regular whey protein and with one scoop of this protein (around 11 grams of protein, verses the recommended two scoops, 22 grams) in my breakfast smoothie I am not hungry at all until lunch.
This is more expensive than the regular whey protein I used to purchase, but since I am only using one scoop verses two, it should last around the same amount of time. I will definitely buy this product again!

Very good product. It taste like most goat whey so taste is not much different from other ones. It does mix very well without the use of a blender. I always get goat whey when its affordable. Tera’s Whey is a 12 oz can and the lowest I have seen it is at $25. This product is a 14 oz container and with shipping is at $23. better deal for the same product. I would rate 5 stars but i had to take one out because of the bottle reads 80 percent protein which is not the case. The serving is 28 grams. Out of those 28, 22 grams is actually protein. That is 78.5 percent protein. I guess 80 percent would be a generous round up. Just saying. A good product overall. I will continue to buy as long as the price is competitive.

It tasted like I was drinking a feta cheese protein shake. I even tried mixing it with fruit, vanilla rice milk, egg white protein powder – and all I could taste was goat cheese. I love goat cheese on a salad, but apparently, not in a protein shake.

Swanson Goat Whey Protein Concentrate Review
I have a value for each star described below as boxes. Check the box, get a star.
Box 1 Check – A mostly whole food with the total ingredients being Goat and the ubiquitous Sunflower Lecithin.
Box 2 Check – It has a neutral taste. There is a hint of goat at the end of the flavor rainbow. This is what I am buying, this is what I expect. I would not check the box if it tasted any other way. Absolutely better than anything else I have tried at this price point.
Box 3 Check – Swanson Products are generally a good value and don’t waste ink on a folksy hard sell. 14 servings for ~$20. I am on board.
Box 4 Check – Product arrived fast, as described and I did not get hammered with multiple emails to give them feedback in the name of customer service.
Box 5 Not Check – Makers of Swanson: give us a mix of 80/20 WPC to ISO.
