Got this Protein powder for my fruit shakes. I like it. I don’t use alot per shake, about 2 teaspoonsful, but I feel like I am adding some good stuff to my drinks. When I added 2 tablespoons (at first) the taste was tolerable but overpowering. So I cut back. 2 teaspoonfuls are undetectable to me. And even at 2 T the taste wasn’t disgusting, just more powerful than I wanted. Good stuff.

I wanted a protein source which was also easy for me to digest – no simple task considering that I have celiac disease, lactose intolerance, and trouble digesting high fat foods. I wanted my protein to be as complete as possible so I decided on a combination of a pea protein I had already ordered and a rice protein supplement.
Many of the other rice proteins reviewed were described as bad tasting and gritty. This one is a fine powder, no gritty texture. The taste is strong and tastes a bit like raw flour. Not exactly tastey. Fortunately, since I’m using this in a protein blend, 1 part rice protein to 3 parts pea protein, its easey to cover up. I add the mix to hot cereal (gluten free corn grits) for breakfast. It’s filling and gives me the energy to get through an eight hour work day, without lunch.
