I like to go straight to the source when taking collagen so this intrigued me. I could write a book on the benefits of taking collagen but chances are that if you are considering purchasing this you already know the outstanding benefits so I will just leave it at that. This gives you the option of adding it to baked goods and smoothies but my preferred way of taking this is by adding it to my soup. I don’t know if it’s just me but I am really not a fan of adding this to my smoothies because it does impart a slight barely detectable bony flavor to my smoothies. It’s not noticeable but it just doesn’t sit right with me mentally. 😅 I really enjoy this in my soup though and it blends right in. This is a great price for the amount you receive. The bag is a lot larger in person than it looks in the product description picture.

A high quality bone broth powder high in protein that’s suited for keto diet but lacking in flavor due to low sodium content be prepared to use a bit of seasoning and spices if you use it like a broth with water. i found this to work well in mixing this powder to an existing vegetable soup that I’ve prepared and also go well in ramen noodles but along with just hot water it’s just taste flat with hint of beef flavor. This is still a very good product due to the high content of protein per scoop with the addition of natural quality collagen that’s really good for everybody. I may not use this everyday but come in handy on soup and ramen time. Like I said before at 82 calorie and 20 grams per scoop this is a excellent alternative for those on a keto diet.

This really fits in with my desire for grass fed and pesticide free animal products. What I really was wanting was a bone broth I can make when I want. I have recently moved into a tiny apartment with a micro sized kitchen and little bitty refrigerator. I have been suffering from herniated disc for many years. When I got a flare-up, I couldn’t feel half of my body, that was when I knew I need to do something about it if I wanted to avoid surgery. Per my doctor’s suggestion, I started incorporating more bone broths in my diet. My flare-ups came less and less, I haven’t had one for months since I started making positive changes to my diet. But. It gets tiring quickly, having to wash and blanch the bone and cooking for hours to extract the collagen. The flavor is also the best among all I’ve tried. It does have a mild bone broth taste – if you are familiar with bone broth, you know what I mean, it is broth made from bone after all! But whatever off-taste there is, it is very mild that it can be easily masked with a little seasonings, salt pepper and onion powder for a drinking broth. I love adding this SoLo bone broth to my boiled vegetable water and it makes a delicious soup packed with nutrients! Next I’m gonna try with banana and peanut butter smoothie!

At the recommendation of a friend, I tried this product. For the past 2 weeks I’ve added a scoop either to my morning smoothie or to my coffee. I made a delicious chicken soup and it ruined my bowl. I read reviews stating that is was flavorless and yes it has no flavor but is so bitter it smells old and yucky.
