   I made rice crispy with promix puffs and was wonderful but SO EXPENSIVE. I was very nervous in spending $52 trying this puffs , worrying if was going to be a good substitute. WELL, it’s BETTER!!
   It’s same ingredients with these puffs being slightly larger. It’s SUPER CRISPY!!!! It’s tasteless. It’s supposed to be. I’ve not made the recipe yet but how I tried was like this: I melt 1 TBsp butter then add 1 cup of puffs , then added monk fruit and cinnamon. Mixed to coat it then added milk. Yum!! Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal! I’m in carnivore/animal based diet . This TRULY made me so full and satisfied. I’m confident this will work perfectly for the rice crispy also

   So far I’ve tried them with yogurt and protein pudding. Adds a nice amount of texture and crunch. I think I’m gonna try to make a high protein “crispy” treat with these.

   I bought these to substitute for another brand that was discontinued. I absolutely love these! Add crunch to homemade protein bars, mix with low carb marshmallows to make “cereal” crispy treats, sprinkle on Greek yogurt, so many uses. One batch I bought was not quite as crispy, but I put them into my dehydrator and they came out great, so still 5 stars from me. I will keep ordering as long as they keep making it! Maybe they should add a second desiccant packet to the bag?

   To start, I’ll just say that I never leave a review. I tried this stuff on a whim as it looked unique and perfect for my diet. But wow, this stuff is amazing!! It tastes great. It has a crunch as well as a flavor that will not leave you disappointed. The bag is 3 pounds of pure deliciousness. It’s diverse in the fact that you can eat it straight up or sprinkle it on other food to both add flavor and a healthy source of protein. I’ll also mention that this took no time at all to ship. These guys must have shipped this out within hours of my purchase. I honestly am so impressed that I will be a customer for life. If you are on the fence about purchasing these protein puffs, it’s well worth it.

   Taste like what I could imagine sawdust would taste. Terrible texture and tasted stale. This bag was $$$ and I contacted the manufacturer and asked for a replacement and never heard back. Not impressed at all

   If you’re use to the Promix which sadly is discontinued now these are not as good. They are larger and more chewier than the Promix. If they were a little smaller or just a little more crunch to them they would be pretty good.

   I used to really enjoy this product. A great texture addition to various meals (yogurt, smoothies, home made cakes and bars) with terrific nutrition profile.

   I recently bought 2 bags (September 2024) after a few months it was out of stock. They may have had a change in manufacturing process because it’s HORRIBLE now. Very odd taste, and no longer light and mild. The texture is also similar to Styrofoam or plastic. I’m unsure why it’s changed this way.

   Unfortunately, I highly recommend buyers avoid this product now. Although it used to be a staple, this is inedible and I can’t make use of this no matter what I try. Direct waste of $100.

   I hope they re-release their original formulation.
