I chose this brand and no flavor batch for a reason that I can’t stand the aftertaste of many products. I have been buying the older package and never had problems; sadly they changed the formula or added Something to it that smells like soap. I have to add cinnamon to my overnight oats and protein. I am very disappointed as I trusted this brand.

This product taste awful and they won’t let me return it. Buyer beware

If i want to start my day off well, I make a smoothie with this product.

A drink that has only 3 ingredients without sacrificing protein. Unsweetened allows you to add bananas and almond butter or blueberries to taste great.

In an effort to add more protein to our diets, I got the unflavored version of Tara’s Whey. So far, I’ve been putting it in my coffee and haven’t noticed a difference in taste. I’m only using about a generous teaspoon, so I’m not getting the full amount of protein that a scoop would provide and that’s OK as I’m finding ways to add the powder to our meals. I find it doesn’t fully dissolve in hot coffee, so I use a frother to mix in the little lumps that remain. My husband plans to sprinkle it on his cereal and I will be using it in smoothies.

I love the neutral flavor, I can add it into any smoothie without worrying about a disgusting monk fruit or stevia aftertaste. Price point is good too. Please remove the soy lecithin, this product is being blended so an emulsifier is an unnecessary additive.

Aside from the fact that you can’t (unless you’re a scientist with a laboratory) scientifically analyze what is actually in the powder and how pure it is (I’m deciding to take them at their word that it’s organic and grass fed) I feel good about this product. Although unsweetened, whey does have a little bit of a distinct flavor, kind of milky sweet, which you might or might not like. If the latter, you can mitigate that in smoothies by adding other ingredients with a stronger flavor like, say, pure cocoa or cinnamon or raspberries etc. I personally add a couple of scoops to most anything I bake: homemade bread, muffins, even cake. That small amount (which provides 21g of protein) doesn’t affect the taste nor the texture yet boosts the protein per serving a couple of grams. I did notice that the price has gone up quite a bit since the last time I bought it, but so has nearly everything else. At least with this product you are presumably helping your health, not hurting it, like so many other junky things we blow money on all the time.
