   I’m not a big fan of the flavor. I love chocolate/peanut butter, but this product only hints at that flavor. I like that it has 24 grams of protein and only 120 calories for each scoop. I also like that it mixes quite well and easily and completely in my shaker bottle. Drinking it is smooth, but I just wish it had a bit more and a bit better flavor. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad flavor, but it’s not good either. I just drink it down and am done with it. It has that whey protein flavor after taste that all whey protein seems to have, but it has less of it than other powders I’ve tried.

   It really tasted like a peanut butter and not like sawdust like many others! Also, other can make me gassy, and this does not. I really like that it mixes well and it’s smooth instead of liquid sandpaper texture. If you can’t tell, I’ve tried a lot and have been disappointed a lot, but this one is a definite winner. It says it was made in the USA I feel a bit safer knowing that we have food and ingredient restrictions so this can be safe for consumption with no hidden ingredients, a quality product.

   I was really hoping to love with this Wellah Protein Your Whey, and although I do really like it I don’t love it. The name is catchy so they get points for that. Additionally it mixes very well with water but I suggest using at least part milk if you like your protein drinks creamier. It does have a slight whey aftertaste (as many whey powders do) but it’s not actually bad. I definitely appreciate that it is made in the United States, and additionally that it has only 2 g of sugars including 1 g of added sugars. The expiration date is clearly printed on the bottom of the bottle which is another plus. The cost is in line with other similar products although for my budget it is a bit pricey. It’s manufactured in an NSF certified, GMP compliant facility and is third-party tested. If you like peanut butter and chocolate I definitely recommend giving this a try.

   I tried the Peanut Butter Chocolate flavor of Wellah’s Protein Your Whey and it really does taste great—smooth, not too sweet, and mixes well without clumping. It’s 120 calories per scoop with 24g of protein, so the macros are solid if you’re tracking.

   Wellah is a newer brand, and they’ve been building a name by offering clean, affordable protein options. What sets them apart is their simple approach and low price point without cutting corners too much. That said, when you check the label, there are a few more processed ingredients than I expected—like cookie meal, palm oil, and some added sugar. It’s not bad, but worth noting if you’re really strict about “clean” supplements. Still, it doesn’t have any artificial sweeteners (they use stevia), and for the flavor and cost, I think it’s a fair trade-off.

   I will start off by saying I am on the border between 3 and 4 stars with this one. When I opened the container the aroma was very light. Since it promotes peanut butter over chocolate, I was expecting that peanut scent. The instructions say to mix it with 6 to 10 ounces of water, and I opted for 8, which is what I do with other protein drinks.

   Now, while it mixes up really well, and there is very little grit or residue, with 8 ounces of water is had very little flavor so it was almost like drinking a glass of water with just a splash of peanut butter and chocolate. Mixing with 6 ounces of water was a little better, though I was left with residue hitting my mouth on the last drink. Smoothies were a lot better, though I did amp it up with some powdered peanut butter.

   It does have 24g of quality protein and price wise is a little cheaper than many I have used in the past, so that is a big plus. In the end though, it could definitely use a flavor boost.
