   I had a good experience with the collagen powder and thought I’d try this. It says you can mix it with cold or hot water. I made a vanilla, cinnamon turmeric tea and it was terrible. The first time, the powder turned into one giant rubbery clump. The second time, I tried stirring rapidly as I mixed and this was the result. It also smells sour. Apparently it’s not eligible for return. I would understand that if it weren’t rancid. What an expensive waste!

   I used the vanilla flavor and didn’t have this problem. This is just an issue with the chocolate shake. When I use a blender bottle and ball, these white chunks float to the top and never mix into the shake no matter how long I shake the bottle. I have to chew through my drink. The flavor is good, but after using the vanilla, the texture of the chocolate is a disappointment. I tried to get a refund, however this item isn’t eligible for return.

   Had my first shake this morning. I mixed 2 scoops with 1 cup of almond milk, 10 coffee ice cubes and 1-2 inch piece of frozen banana. The shake was very filling- no obtrusive after taste and a super whipped creamy texture– with the other ingredients added in it. I also tasted the product with just unsweetened almond milk and the primal fuel– it also tasted very good–but felt a bit on the light side/texture wise. I mixed it in the blender. I’ve been doing a lot of fruit smoothies but wanted to cut down on the sugar factor so I thought I’d try this product. $6+ product at Jamba— versus $2.10/2 scoop serving of this with $.75/serving almond milk, piece of banana $.50… approx total $3.50 for the meal. Pretty good trade off. Hopefully it will give me the energy I need to get me through most of my day.

   I’ve bought this before and have loved it. When I opened it this morning to make my shake, I noticed that there was chocolate powder (not surprising), but also white powder. It was as if the coconut flavor or whatever hadn’t been mixed in properly. Its odd. It doesn’t taste any different from the last one I bought, but it looks like a quality control issue. Not sure who to contact about this or if I should. Will buy again when I need to.

    My biggest concern is that the container isn’t completely filled. The picture I added was immediately after opening, the canister wasn’t filled to the top. I’m sure I’ll still get the labeled amount of servings (I will be counting) but for now it’s kind of disappointing to buy a product and have it come 3/4 of the way full. This is decent tasting, it won’t make you gag, but I’d be hard pressed to say its delicious. But that’s really not an issue since I use this as a supplement not as a replacement for food AND it fits in with my paleo/primal food plan.

    I was hoping since this says you can mix it and drink hot with coffee it would be the same as the primal kitchen collagen creamer but clearly not. I had to throw my cup of coffee away – it was clumpy and wouldn’t dissolve given this coffee was brewed hot.

    If I get a protein powder or meal replacement, I usually opt for chocolate. Normally the vanilla flavor tastes too artificial or just plain gross. Primal Fuel Vanilla is definitely the exception. I love this stuff. I normally mix it in with some plain greek yogurt. It dissolves completely, not at all gritty, and adds this lovely thick creamy texture to the yogurt. Add some berries and almond slivers to take it to the next level. I’ve mixed it into smoothies and it’s just as good. I only ever really need one scoop though. It’s delicious and I prefer it over the chocolate Primal Fuel. I’ve never gotten any stomach issues from consuming this. I personally love the taste, doesn’t have a “sugar-free” aftertaste, but taste is completely subjective. It’s definitely worth a try, especially if you’ve had bad experiences with vanilla flavored powders. I love that it’s a meal replacement and to simply a protein powder though it has 10 g of protein per scoop. I don’t know if it’s supposed to taste like coconut, but it doesn’t which isn’t a plus or minus for me.

    They changed the recipe without any warning or info! Less than half the protein and fat…. That’s a pretty drastic change! I used this stuff to support a pretty active lifestyle – now it’s all about calorie restriction. Not the point! …and the new recipe doesn’t dissolve properly.

    For the first time ever, I clicked the “Buy again” on bestproteinpowder4women.net and bought another container. We loved the 1st, and I’m super picky with protein, hating the chalky taste or aftertaste many leave…this did not. My husband opens and calls me wondering if I ordered a different one: larger container, only use one scoop (instead of the previous 2), and half the protein in the same amount of recommended liquid…and chunks of coconut. While I appreciate that there’s real food in there, the change in serving size is frustrating. I see recent reviews and am nervous about the first taste and if it blends in with the water or chunks up? I’ll update later; I just wish the description on bestproteinpowder4women.net (that states it’s 20g protein) would match the title. Know that the description is NOT accurate.     I had been buying this for my morning protein shakes for about 6 months before they changed the formula. It was great! Smooth and tasty and dissolved perfectly in almond milk. I felt full all morning and liked the recyclable packaging. When my latest tub arrived in April, I contacted customer service because it was inedible. I thought I had gotten a bad batch or it was a mistake. There were white chunks that didn’t dissolve and made it disgusting to drink. Customer service said this was not a mistake, this was their new formula, and recommended putting the powder in a food processor to break up the chunks. Not wanting to waste my money, I put some in my Magic Bullet blender since I don’t own a food processor to try to break down those rock-hard chunks so I could at least use what I’d bought. It didn’t make one bit of difference. This company has ruined what was used to be a great product and lost my business.

    I love the Primal Kitchen Primal Fuel it’s amazing, however I ordered the 20 mg Protein per scoop version and received one that is only 10mg Protein per scoop version. That was Not what was pictured on the order. The photo online and with my order confirmation was for the 20mg powder. I’m disappointed, but I have already opened my bottle and poured the last of my old container into it. Super bummed.

    I was looking for a healthier alternative to powdered coffee creamer. This stuff has protein and a great flavor. The down side is it doesn’t mix easily with hot coffee, clumping significantly. I have learned to add a small amount of coffee slowly to the powder, mix into a slurry, then add the rest of the coffee a little at a time. I then run the mixed blend over a small strainer to remove small undissolved clumps. Not a deal killer, and worth it for me, but don’t expect this stuff to dissolve smoothly. If you enjoy the flavor, but don’t want to clumping issues, pay a little more for their Collagen peptide fuel.

    I tried working this powder into multiple different products like yogurt or milk, even coffee and every single time it ends up chunky. The only time it doesn’t chunk up but still stays grainy is when I put it in water in a blender bottle. I had high hopes for this but was disappointed.
