   This Nature’s Premium 100% Whey Protein Powder is a tasty addition to my morning smoothies. I like that it is just protein, without any added vitamins, minerals, and other stuff, as I like to add the supplements my body actually needs. Fresh greens, frozen fruits, a couple of powdered supplements, and less than half a serving of this protein powder is all I need for a great smoothie. It adds a yummy chocolaty flavor, and blends easily using a blender. Highly recommended!

   I love the smooth texture of this protein powder, does not taste powdery and granular at all. Its easy to mix and have good macros giving me 24 g of protein per serving. Overall its good quality for the price.

   Nice taste, blends well. I mix fruits, nuts, dates, and non-dairy milk so the mix has most of the flavor, but the chocolate adds a nice touch and the protein leaves me full feeling. I have trouble with the many reviews of protein mixes that criticize flavor, but this is not offensive at all.

   I just received this brand of protein today. I was pleasantly impressed that the tub was filled to the top with settling. I weighed it and it was exactly the weight advertised. This is my first time using this brand. I have tried different brands in the past. I always look at the amount of servings, calories, and protein blends. This one tastes great. No problems mixing it with just water and has a smooth texture. Other brands I tried in the past were more expensive and tasted terrible. I will definitely be ordering again as long as they don’t raise the price.

   Things I like: • Tastes great- this has a rich, sweet chocolatey flavor • Mixes easily – this dissolves quickly in cold water or nut milk. •Versatile – this works well in coffee, as a smoothie or just plain • Made in a GMP facility •Properly sealed- this has both an inner foam protective seal and an outer plastic wrap around the lid. • Comes with a nice scoop – more often than not, companies are ommitting scoops to save money, but this includes one. Things I would like to see improved: • Primary ingredient is whey protein concentrate – the second ingredient listed is whey isolate, but it’s difficult to know how much of the higher quality protein is actually included. • Contains sucralose – while this tastes sweet and has little aftertaste, I’m not a huge fan of sucralose. I would much prefer an unsweetened protein powder so that I can either add my own sweetener or enjoy it plain.

   I’ve mixed this in recipes, smoothies, and drank it with water and it taste horrible and gives me an awful headache every time. It doesn’t taste like chocolate, but more of a bad coffee from a cheap hotel. I don’t like to waste money but I won’t be finishing this tub.

   The double-rich chocolate whey protein powder is delicious in my opinion and provides twenty-four grams of protein per serving. It mixes well with minimal powder clumping without a bottle shaker. The viscosity is about medium with a mild creaminess when mixed with Vanilla Almond Milk. I feel the sweetness level is about average being not too sweet or not too unsweetened. Overall, I love the flavor of the double-rich chocolate and how well it mixes with just a spoon.

    Overall, this seems like the typical chocolate protein powder. It has the typical chocolate taste– decent, no weird aftertaste, and generally pretty pleasant. I do add about 2-4oz more water per scope than what is recommended on the jug so it’s not so thick. My only real complaint is that that scoop is an annoying size. It’s a very large scoop, so much so that it matches the diameter of my wide mouth Nalgene bottle. That is, it’s difficult to pour it into the wide mouth bottle without a bit of spillage. That’s obviously a minor complaint. The protein powder itself tastes decent and seems like almost every other chocolate protein powder I’ve used in the last few years. Solid 4 stars.
