   It’s very sweet like Carmel candy, definately taste better cold than room temperature. I ended up even putting ice in it to dilute the sweet taste. It’s marketed as 1 g of sugar. It contains Sucralose which is an artificial sweetener that the body doesn’t broken down. Suctalose is what the brand name Splenda is made from. Just too sweet for me.

   I’ve been purchasing these same shakes for years now. My last purchase was a nightmare. I got 1 box of the Caramel and 1 of the Bananas and Cream. Both of them had 2020 expiration dates, but I could only drink half the container before the thick, slimy, and sometimes gritty substance appeared. I even stopped to shake them half way through and it made no difference. I contacted the manufacturer and sent photos and got no response, they’ve lost a long time customer.

   Received the shipment in a regular shipping box in which each protein was individual. Usually they are sold in 4 packs at the store. These came one by one in the box. While the expiration was good until September 2018, my first 4 I tried drinking and it was all clumpy to the point whatever it was, I couldn’t even chew it which is gross in the first place as it’s suppose to be a liquid. Will no longer purchase this item on here as it’s to much of a risk. I drink these every day for breakfast so my last 4 days have been shot. Attached is a picture of what was in these drinks no clue what it is

   These are the best tasting protein shakes ever. I really like that they are low carb as they work perfect for someone like myself who has type 2 diabetes. I use them as a meal replacement for breakfast but I also use them when I want a low-carb snack. I have an allergy to whey and milk. When I consume whey or milk I get severe abdominal pain and diarrhea. However, I do not get these symptoms with the Premier protein shakes and I drink one to two per day. These are the only protein shakes that I can tolerate with my stomach issues.

   I really like that these 12 shakes come in one box they do not expire until 2019. I’ve noticed there was some vendors on bestproteinpowder4women.net that send you food that’s going to expire soon. I’m glad that was not the case at this company.

   For someone trying to lose weight without losing muscle mass, protein drinks are very important. I’ve tried all kinds of brands in many different flavors. Premier Protein’s high protein shake is superior to all the others in consistency and taste. I’ve tried several of the available flavors, and settled on the excellent strawberries and cream… until I found the caramel flavor. I drink one caramel flavored Premier Protein shake every morning after a workout. It’s absolutely DELICIOUS. If you like the taste of butterscotch pudding, you’ll LOVE this. It basically tastes the same. It has 5g of carbohydrates, but thanks to a generous 2g of dietary fiber it’s basically only 3g of net carbs. It has a platey 160 calories, which I can burn off in about 15 minutes of moderate exercise. There’s a laundry list of ingredients to upset the purists, but I don’t care. The bottom line is that I can get a delicious drink in a small package that replenishes my protein and helps with my weight control. Highly recommended!

    Sugar alcohol content is too high. Too sweet. I’m returning these. Made me sick to my stomach I only had about two sips and immediately felt some kind of sugar rush and alcohol effect or sick feeling. I had horrible upset stomach all night from the small amount I drank. The effect of this shake wasn’t anything like the chocolate or vanilla. I make it a point to avoid foods with sugar alcohols of a certain type. If I had known this I would not have bought it. The company should be required to post nutritional information on the type of sugar alcohols in the product. I called the customer service and was told that they do contain sugar alcohols but they don’t have to list that information on the label. Shame on them.

    I have tried a pretty wide variety of protein drinks and bars and these have become my favorite drinks by a landslide. I had been using Core Power but these are way better in all of these areas: -TASTE: Premiere protein definitely tastes the best of all the bottled protein drinks on the market in my opinion, especially these caramel ones! Holy yummy!! -PROTEIN: Core power drinks come in 11.5oz bottles and premiere power come in 11oz and yet they have 4 more grams of protein per drink than core power. -LESS CALORIES/LESS SUGAR: These have 80 less calories than core power drinks and only 1 GRAM of sugar compared to 26 grams in core power drinks. This is amazing considering that they taste much better and have more protein. -MEAL REPLACEMENT OR SNACK: At only 160 calories, these shakes could reasonably used as a snack rather than a meal replacement if you prefer that. With core power drinks weighing in at 240 calories, it’s a little harder for me to justify using them as a snack. (NOTE: Whoever said in reviews that these could be frozen and eaten as a cold treat was WRONG haha! These do NOT freeze well) -FILLING: For only being 11 ounces and 160 calories, these are surprisingly filling and satisfying and last me through the difficult afternoons to dinner time! -PRICE: I am amazed at the price difference between these drinks. Premiere protein is far cheaper than core power and in my estimation is superior in every respect! In summary, I honestly don’t think there exists a better combination of high protein, low calories, next to no sugar and fantastic taste on the market in this price range. I cannot recommend these enough!!!

    I tried the Pure Protein caramel shakes for the first time very recently, and I was very pleasantly surprised! I’ve had surgery where I need to have protein shakes often, and am also a type 1 diabetic so I need to watch out for all the extra carbs. Many other brands of protein shakes are either full of unnecessary sugar, taste awful, or have way more protein than anyone can absorb in one serving. I’ve tried Pure Protein vanilla drinks in the past and found I liked those. However, I’m always wary trying new brands or flavors seeing I’ve had so many that I’ve wasted money on because I really didn’t like the taste. I needed to reorder my protein shakes and came across the caramel; it was at a really good price, and caramel is one of my favorite flavored things, so I talked myself into buying them (lol).

    I’m glad I did! The Pure Protein caramel shakes taste amazing. The flavor reminds me of sucking on a hard caramel candy. A lot of times you find that the flavor of low carb shakes isn’t very strong; not with this one. It’s bold, but not at all in a bad way! The amount of protein and carbs that are there is just what I was looking for. I can guarantee that I’ll be buying the caramel flavored Pure Protein shakes again in the future!

    I was hesitant to order these online due to some reviews stating their drinks were chunky. I went ahead and gave it a shot since there were a lot of good reviews. I will never order this again. I received my Premier Protein Caramel drinks and there were chunks in them! Not chunks you can shake up and they go away. Big, thick, chunks. I checked and noticed that the expiration date is in 3 months. The Premier Protein I buy at the store usually has an expiration date for the following year so I think these are old. I’m not drinking them and have requested a refund. This is not right.

    This stuff is great for a quick protein supplement when you are running low on time or if you need to be on a liquid (not clear) diet. It has a good flavor but beware, it is pretty sweet tasting. I prefer it over the other flavors. It is actually very good mixed with coffee as well. Perfect size. Low on carbs and sugar but one of the highest levels of protein available.

    I like these shakes b/c of the high protein in it. I am supposed to avoid Chocolate and I couldn’t find vanilla but this flavor works.Since then I’ve been able to find vanilla at local Costco. I’ll order again if unable to get it locally. The Costco cost however is $25.99 and now they have vanilla. (They also have chocolate but they do not have any other flavors.) I particularly buy these for the low-carb count; I try to keep my carb count low and I think the taste as good if not better as the Atkins low-carb which may even be more expensive. Sometimes I’m just not hungry and one of the shakes is all I feel like eating.

    Me and my wife have been doing keto on and off for a while and we have always loved these, but recently it seems the value of these has dropped significantly. I buy these by the case and use them as meal replacements at work. Recently i have bought 2 cases and in both all of the drinks are not mixed at all. No matter how much you shake them you cant get it mixed. You end up with unmixed chunks of protein powder coming out and still have about a quarter inch of mix in the bottom. So not only is it unpleasant to drink, you also dont get the entire benefit of the product. I have switched to fairlife protein which is a little higher price, but at least its not like drinking pudding.
