   This is some good tasting protein powder that mixes easily with a spoon. I wish it was a tad less sweet, but that can be fixed with a little more water. What surprised me was how easily it mixed with a spoon without any clumps. This is a protein blend, so that adds to the taste. If you’re lactose intolerant, take that into consideration. 25 grams of protein for 120 good tasting calories is well worth it. The one thing that caught my attention in the ingredient list was the buttermilk solids, milk solids and butter. I’ve never seen that in a program powder before. They’re towards the end of the ingredient list so in small amounts but still, it’s interesting and different. How well does it work? I really do t know. It’s protein powder so as long as the content levels listed are accurate, it should work just as well as any other protein blend. No Ace-k for sweeteners, only sucralose. That is a personal preference, some swear by díctalos e, some swear at it. I prefer Ace-k over sucrslose, and stevia over both but I’ll drink them all. Do your research into how each affects your gut health and make your own decision. Haven’t mixed this with milk yet, only water but I think it will make a great desert mixed with milk, a touch of instant coffee and a couple of drops of vanilla. Oh, and it comes with a killer deal under the kid, something rarely seen nowadays with most containers coming with just screwed on kids and a tamper resistant shrink wrap. The vacuum seal in this is really nice.

   My review is based on the coffee ice cream and not peanut butter crunch. I originally ordered the peanut butter crunch flavor, which I’ve had before and really like it, but received the coffee ice cream one. I decided to try it instead of returning it to see if it was as good as the peanut butter crunch. It was not my favorite as an after workout flavor and it tastes better in coffee, at least for me. The sticker label on the container states peanut butter crunch but the container is not what I ordered. At least I know not to get this flavor again. And I don’t like how this flavor foams so much when mixed with just water. Overall it’s not terrible and it taste good with coffee, but not a fan of it for post workout. Looking forward to having the peanut butter crunch again and hoping for the right product to be delivered this time around.

   This flavor was really good. It reminds me of a flavor that Ghost made pre-pandemic, and I’ve been searching for a replacement since they discontinued it. It’s so good that I just bought another one even though it’s February.

   I had high hopes for this product because I’ve heard good things about the Podium brand but the flavoring on this protein is very off. It’s hard for me to even finish this supplement product because the taste is bad. It’s supposed to be coffee ice cream but doesn’t taste like anything good. In a way, it tastes like plastic. I’m not sure if I just got a bad batch but do to this, I wouldn’t buy this product again. At least not this flavor option.

   This is a fairly tasty protein mix that definitely tastes like coffee ice cream. The macros are good, basically with 25g of protein and a gram of fat and sugar. It has buttermilk solids and butter in the creamer, which adds to the flavor, but not to the fat. I’m on the keto train though and don’t see fat as a four-letter-word. They use sucralose, however, which , while it tastes great, isn’t the most natural and may be harmful in large amounts (a shake a day shouldn’t be a problem but I’m not a doctor). I would have preferred some monk fruit and/or stevia. The brand is solid and you may want to keep the scoop, which has a hole in it for a hook on the container that ironically isn’t there. And like most big protein mix tubs, there’s a big gap at the top of the product. It’s a good mix (definitely top 20%), but not as good as the Podium hydration mix in its class.

    The flavor of this coffee ice cream protein powder is fine. I think it’s a little overly sweet with not quite enough coffee flavor, but it’s still pleasant enough to drink. There’s no indication of whether or not it has caffeine in it anywhere, it does contain coffee extract. The jug is about half full of protein powder. There’s a prop 65 warning on the jug, that states it may contain lead or other cancer causing compounds, that’s concerning. It does dissolve well in either soy milk or water using a shake cup and it isn’t at all gritty or sandy.

    This protein powder has a good concentration of whey protein at 25 grams per scoop with no added sugar. It has a mild coffee & cream flavor and mixes well in cold milk. When shaken in a shaker bottle, it does foam a little more than other protein powders we’ve used. But it is a good protein powder with excellent quality. It is a little more expensive than our usual brand but when you look at it as $45 for a month’s worth of lunches (not including milk) it is still a good deal. Highly recommend!

    This is a great product if you wanna gain muscle of course and I enjoy all the flavors! So far I am into the mint chocolate chip but, I also love the maple pancake flavor. I add this protien powder with one banana, two scoops of almond butter and 6oz of milk and its just out of this world! There are two things that I would detest which one is the price, its on the more expensive side but will say the varity and different flavors combat that. The next would be an issue that maybe in the future they can fix is that they have sucrose added into it. Granted that its literally one of the last ingredients but I would like to see if they can formulate stevia leaf into it in the future.

    This is one of my go to’s because it tastes so good. However, maybe it’s TMI but this powder messed with my digestive tract so much it gives me internal hemorrhoids if I miss eating enough fiber along with it. I don’t have that problem with any other food/protein powder.. Never had that problem before in my entire life. But if I have this drink even once and don’t eat a couple apples with it or use some husk powder or something for some fiber, it really messes me up. I’m in pain for a few days and using the bathroom is awful. Be careful.

    I know there are other things I should care about but my small tub of chocolate brownie protein powder came with a giant scoop and a scoop hook! This tickled me pink since I have been dealing with other manufacturers who use scoops that barely fit in the container. The small details matter and shows an extra level of care. The powder mixes easily and has a nice taste. I love that they sell the smaller tubs so I can try the flavor and test the protein. I hope they make a small tub of the coffee ice cream. Definitely want to test that next. I do want to weigh the powder in the scoop. I feel like it is more than the 32 gram serving but I could just be the shape of the scoop that is deceiving.

    Podium Nutrition’s Whey Protein Powder is a high quality, easy to mix and digest, and delicious way to supplement your protein intake. It is low cal, but a bit on the sweet side if that might be an issue for you. The coffee ice cream flavor is spot on, however. It is good mixed in a shaker cup with water but even better when mixed with animal or plant milk and other ingredients in a smoothie. I do a lot of resistance training and it helps speed up recovery and with lean muscle maintenance and growth. It does contain coffee so I expect there is some caffeine, but the amount isn’t listed on the packaging. My nutrition label (photo) is slightly different than what is on the product page.     Like some have said, the flavor is pretty intense. Thats not a deal breaker, I’d just opt for a lot more water to cut the flavor down.

    As someone who works in the design field, its not gonna matter to some, but the packaging is really well done. Feels like you’ve got a premium product. Well done Podium design team!
