This is a great protein powder: 100% chickpea “flour”, no other ingredients. It’s super-easy to make homemade hummus with this, just add some water, salt, pepper, your choice of oil/fat (I like a teaspoon of mayonnaise), whatever flavorings you like (lemon juice, pickles, olives, tomato paste, use your imagination!) and you have instant, healthy hummus in whatever portion size you need.

I’ve been looking for chickpea protein for the longest and finally it is here. The only downside is that this protein is very pricey. Hopefully the manufacturer will do something about that to make it more accessible or lower the price

I have smoothies almost every day. I normally use a collagen protein powder and was looking for a change. Since I like chickpeas, I purchased this product. It mixes in easily with my blender. No weird taste like some other kinds of protein powder. Just has 1 ingredient which is my preference. I do not like protein powders that add stevia or “natural flavoring.” SimplyFUEL has 20 grams of protein while the collagen powder I was using only has 14. This also provides some fiber in my diet. I will continue to purchase this product.

10 years of searching and I’ve finally found the perfect protein for me.
Warning, it does not smell great or taste great if you don’t mask it.
I mix it with oatmeal, cacao powder, oat milk, vanilla extract, and maple syrup for the perfect after workout snack.
The powder blends up pretty nicely…

I first purchased this product a couple months ago and LOVED it. Mixed with a little water, it would create a very light fluffy mix with a natural neutral flavor. I just received my second canister and it was nothing like the first. It has a somewhat lemon/vanilla-ish smell to it, or just some strange artificial smell. And when mixed with a little water it creates a clumpy, gooey, slimy mixture. It tastes totally different as well. The paper safety seal inside the canister lid was also not sealed. I don’t know what I received and why it was 100% different. I loved the first shipment and wish I could receive THAT product again!
