I love their collagen powder. I mix it in with my morning coffee just for general health purposes and I absolutely love it. I can’t notice any change in the flavor of my coffee and I don’t notice any sort of texture change after it dissolves.

For about the past year, I have been using “Built” brand chocolate Collagen Peptides Powder as a coffee creamer, which is delicious. Unfortunately, it’s been out of stock for weeks (and I worry discontinued)… so I was forced to try a new brand. I looked for one with similar ingredient lists – especially the sweeteners (I don’t care for the taste of stevia, so I looked for one with sucralose – like this one). Now, I know taste is subjective – and if this was just a “strange little aftertaste” situation, I’d take it as a personal taste incompatibility and move on without the harsh review… but this is a strong ick in comparison to my regular product! This one smells like nesquick when you open the bag, which is promising…. but I mixed it in my coffee and had the first taste… YUCK, YUCK, YUCK! It tastes like it has something indescribable in it, plus maybe chicken/beef bullion – certainly not yummy chocolate! I am so irritated that this is a non-returnable item because it’s food. Gross items should be returnable for a refund… Since I can’t return it – honest, nasty review it is! Buyers beware – just drop a chicken bullion cube in your drink of choice instead!

This collagen supplement provides pretty good value. It has 10g of collagen peptides per serving and has a chocolate taste to it. It doesn’t provide any extra sugar which is nice. The taste leaves something to be desired, and the aftertaste is somewhat odd. It mixes very well, and I would use it with coffee or milk to hide the aftertaste. I do wish it had more protein per serving, but I cannot complain with the price. Overall, I think the product is worth trying and comparing to other options to see what you like.
