   I prefer Bone Broth Protein Powders to most others I have used. TEDCo Paleo Post Beef Protein Powder is sugar free and provides 21g protein and only 3g total carbs per serving. The mild Chocolate flavor is pleasant and mixes well in several recipes I use.

   I have tried many, many protein powders, and this one is among the best I have had. The source is excellent, it simply does not get better than grass fed beef bone broth protein powder. I was concerned the flavor would be the trade off for such magnificent quality, but it was very tasty and creamy rich. Would be the last protein powder I try if I could swing it.

   High quality chocolate protein powder with less grit than soy products and without the stale cheese aftertaste of whey products. Flavor is best described as artificially sweetened chocolate brownie – not at all unpleasant but has the distinctive floral qualities of Stevia extract front and center. When mixed with water the consistency and flavor are a lot like Yoo-Hoo chocolate drinks. (Not sure if they even still make those) Takes a lot of effort to mix compared to other products – the label on top of the jar recommends a blender or shaker bottle with a wire whisk. Standard stir-with-a-spoon won’t do anything for you (unless you like clumps of gelatinous chocolate goo in your drink) But I’m not sure that a marginal improvement in taste justifies the substantially higher price point. I’m not sure if I buy the claims that beef protein has “less bloat” or is “more digestible” – I’ve never had problems with whey or soy and didn’t have any with this either. None of which should discourage you from trying this, especially if you’ve had issues with soy or whey products. But in my experience protein is protein, and not sure if this product is worth the additional money for me.

   I was a little worried about the flavor of this…I mean, bone broth AND chocolate??? But it actually works well and tastes just like a sweet, slightly-off hot chocolate.

   I have been stirring half a scoop in to my coffee each morning for an extra boost of protein, and it tastes great. I do recommend using a milk frother or other form of blending as it can be a bit gritty if not mixed very well.

   I feel good about getting the healing properties of bone broth and the extra boost of protein in such an easy-to-use product.
