   This is the second time buying this and I’m so glad I did ! I first bought it a while ago and thought it tasted so good compared to other meal replacement shakes . I kind of fell off the wagon for a while and stopped doing the meal replacement Shakes till recently . For some stupid reason I decided to try another shake even though I remembered how much I loved this one . That shake was AWFUL . It tasted horrible and had a gritty texture . So finally I went back to these . When I opened the container the smell was so good ! It was almost like a vanilla cake batter . It mixes well and tastes almost like a milkshake . I love it . I mean I wouldn’t be in need to lose some weight if I didn’t enjoy how things tasted and now I can get some help without torturing myself with something that tastes awful . Thanks lean 1 for being delicious!

   I ordered last month and received the item on the left. I really liked it so I hit reorder and somehow got the one on the right. The nutritional info is slightly different and this one (the one on the right) tastes terrible. It has almost no flavor whatsoever. It’s very frustrating that they are this inconsistent with their product. I will not order from them again.

   Alright. We’re talking about a 200 calorie serving (2 scoops). My biggest concern was what this would taste like. Let me just say OMG!!! It tastes great! I got the vanilla lite flavor. I put 20 oz of water with 2 scoops of powder in a blender. I turn the blender on low and add some ice so it turns into a smoothie. Let me just say… Blend it. Blend it good…. The amount of smoothie will expand in the blender and before you know it, it you have a full blender of mix… Which is good if you want this to be a meal replacement. It’ll fill you up and will taste soooo good. I’m already looking forward to my next shake! If you want something to replace a meal, taste good, and fill you up, get this stuff.

   Lean1 is by far the best Nutrition/Performance shake I have ever used. I have tried so many different ones such as EAS. However, Lean1 blows them out of the water in every category.     Excellent taste and consistency. Not “powdery” like other protein shakes/meal replacement drinks. I really like how smooth the drink is when mixed with water. It is not too sweet and also mixes well with coffee/water. Highly recommended.

    I’ve been using this product for several Years now and this is the second time I’ve recieved this with a different label and different formula which does NOT taste good!!! It’s very frustrating that the seller shows a picture of the product I think I’m getting instead of this other formula which is stated on the front label. It’s not that hard for the seller to snap a pic of what we’re actually ordering. The screenshot pic is what I thought I was getting and the pic I took is what I actually got. Each time I received the tub that shows CLA on the front label did NOT taste the same whatsoever.

    I loved the first batch of this shake that I received, but recently I received a batch of the same flavor (chocolate) that tasted awful! I am not sure what happened, but this new canister I got I can’t even choke down. I reached out to the seller via email and have not received a response. I am just disappointed because I originally really did love this shake as a lunch replacement. *Edited* This second batch I received I noticed is a different one entirely. Although I came in and hit “order again,” I received one that has a small change in description on it, so I am assuming that is why it does not taste the same. This one had a brown strip starting “naturally flavored.” I’m changing my rating to 3 stars because I really did love the original shake. It is the seller who messed up my order.

    I use this vanilla protein powder with two additional chocolate protein powders. I like that it has a thickening property that creates a milkshake effect. It does have good flavor, however, it is too sweet for me with the recommended two scoops. It was significantly cheaper than my usual brand so I decided to give it ago. Try it and see what you think.

    The vanilla flavoring is overpowering, as is the sucralose (splenda). If you’ve ever had sugar free creme filled cookies, it tastes about like sugar free creme filling. I tried blending 1 cup of strawberries into my shake to cut the vanilla, but the vanilla was just way too overpowering. Also, the shake foamed up like crazy. It was like a half-flat soda, but shake-textured. No bueno. However, I have some chocolate peanut butter flavor on hand, which tastes a lot better. If I do a scoop of each, it tastes like cookies n cream. So that’s what I’ll be doing to use this up. The shake is filling. It has plenty of fiber and chromium and whatnot to curb appetite. I am bad about craving sweets, but it hasn’t been an issue with these shakes! It’s a good source of nutrients so you don’t feel bad about swapping 1-2 meals for it. I almost bought Soylent, but this is more cost-effective. I’ve been losing weight since I’ve been using these shakes and using an app to count calories. But I would recommend a different flavor.

    I’ve only been using this for a week and i got the strawberry & cream! First of all, it’s super good!!! Second of all i’ve been using this as a meal replacement for breakfast, I was going all day without eating and just eating dinner then around 1am i’d wake up starving and i was just unhealthy. I started having digestive issues and all kinds of stuff. After one week tho my digestion issues have improved at least 75%, and I feel much better through the day! Will update again if anything changes as i use!!

    The new “version” of this product (not shown or described in product listing as of 3/13/18) has reduced calorie content to 170 calories per serving (was 220), and removal of cane juice solids. The 15 serving size is now 780 grams, down from 900. Bottom line is the product is now flavorless and chalky rather than the creamy shake it used to be. Why would the company do this? I’m guessing to save money. bestproteinpowder4women.net refunded my purchase but I won’t be buying anything from Nutrition 53 again.
