I’m a cancer scientist and I am very particular about my health and what goes into my body. I was gaining a lot of pounds from stress eating and decided to use this as a meal replacement and I am so glad I did. I still eat a balanced diet as a base for my diet, but replacing my dinner or breakfast (or both depending on how busy I am) with this has really saved my life. I have more energy and I am getting back to my original weight. One small little warning though, this will make your poop a little harder than usual because of all the protein, so make sure you are eating a lot of fiber in the rest of you meals. Great taste though!

Makes an excellent chocolate shake. I mix with 1 to 1.25 cups almond milk (unsweetened), peanut butter powder (optional), about a tsp of Maca and same of MSM. Thick like a shake..if you want thinner, add water or more milk. If you want even more protein, add pea protein (one scoop) If you want sweeter, add some banana. Can also throw in some ice to make more like a Frosty from Wendys.

I love the taste of this product! I add it to my oatmeal and smoothies, it isn’t gritty, the taste is great and it’s easy on my stomach. I would recommend this protein powder to anyone. I def will be buying again.

Was looking for a nice flavor that was a casein type protein mix. Had previously been just downing the Premier Protein premade shakes but realized that they’re just from concentrate and they’re not very cheap.
Pros:
– Love the taste
– Mixes to a nice creamy thickness at 12oz of water (or thinner if you add more water)
– Seems to fill me up for a while
Note: Make sure you have a good shaker cup or blender, it’s pretty sticky if you don’t shake it well
Cons:
– Nothing so far

Seems to work well. Take this before bed as it is a slower protein digestion.

I have been looking for a chocolate non-whey protein FOR-EVER as one you could stir into milk so easily without clumps or shaker ball. THIS is IT! Humungous TY to ON for the best protein powder ever !!! This stuff IS so TOTALLY awesome!!!

I haven’t bought Optimum Nutrition products in over 10 years. The chocolate tastes pretty much the same: tolerable to good and kind of pudding like. Something else that’s the same, they’ve always mixed poorly. With a shaker you’ll wind up with blobs and smears down the side. Even with an immersion blender I wind up with muddy accumulation on the wand. The only way I found to make certain it’s completely mixed, whether 10 years ago or today, is to pour slowly into a full size blender with everything already moving.
Decent protein for the money, but there are certainly better mixing and tasting brands out here.
I can’t vouch for the quality of the protein, but I’ll have to assume than O.N. wouldn’t still be around if they were consistently overstating quality claims.
