I wanted to try this since I saw a taste-test that ranked this the best vegan protein. It was out of stock forever, so I had been waiting many months. I must say that I am a little disappointed. The texture is ultra smooth, which is great. However, it mixes to an extremely thin texture. This could be good, or possibly a non issue, depending on your usage. I consume most of my protein in a shaker with a little water while I’m heading back from the gym. There’s something about vanilla flavored water that is off putting. And speaking of vanilla, this comes across as way too sweet for me. I don’t consume a lot of sugar or artificial sweetener, so I am a little sensitive to it. It’s hard for me to get over the overwhelming artificial sweetener flavor here.

As far as plant-based (pea) proteins go, this tastes pretty good. It mixes well and has great nutritional values – no sugary bloat inflating calorie counts. But, of the 3 vanillas which I have ordered, I have only ended up with Vanilla once. The last two cannisters have come in Chocolate. Both flavors are good, but I WANT VANILLA!! And to make matters worse, both of the last two cans of this stuff are externally marked as vanilla, so some doofus in the factory has made quite a mixup.
