I’ve been a fan of Nutricost pea protein for a while and was glad to try this new organic pea protein. Nutricost does well with a lot of these flavored pea proteins. Because it’s pea protein, it’s a little more chalky and thicker than whey, but the Nutricost versions still mix fairly easily, taste good, and are very easy on the stomach. To help mixing, I actually mix a scoop of pea protein with a scoop of whey. Somehow the combination of the two mixes really well and makes a nice consistency.
And let me take a moment to give props to this company for keeping the price reasonable. This is barely over a dollar a serving, about as cheap as you can get protein. So many brands come out with super expensive proteins trying to cash in on the fad and take advantage of people who don’t shop around. Not the case with Nutricost: always a reasonable price!
Will definitely come back for more. Heck, I’ve been buying Nutricost for years and have a physique at 40 years old that still turns heads.

This product is the 60th protein powder that I’ve tried over the last 4 years, and while I’ve tried quite a few, it’s always quickly apparent how I’m going to rate each one relative to all the others. My key criteria list for a protein powder is short, but every criterion is significant to me. First, it needs to meet the status quo of 20g to 22g of protein per serving. Second, it needs to have good taste. Third, it needs to mix well without the need of a shaker bottle or blender. And fourth, it needs to lack artificial sweeteners (and ideally all sugars). This product meets the status quo by providing 20g of protein per serving, even though I’m not paying attention to serving size or price per serving, mixes extremely well when stirring it in a combination of water and milk, and makes use of natural sweetener organic sweetener with zero presence of total sugars or added sugars. Some might be interested in knowing that the flavor of this protein powder is a true milk chocolate sourced from organic cocoa powder, and aspect of which other competing products somehow miss. For what it’s worth, I ordered this product because of my past positive experiences with other Nutricost protein powders including Bone Broth + Multi-Collagen (chocolate), Organic Vegan Meal Replacement (chocolate), Organic Pea Protein (unflavored), and Organic Rice Protein (unflavored).
