   I do not like it, but it’s my experience in all pew protein shakes that they are gonna taste like peas or some sort of powdery weird flavor. So I knew what I was getting into when I ordered this. I weigh my stuff out, bc unfortunately I couldn’t find the scoop lol. It’s not biggie, weighing gives more accuracy. If you blend it with strawberries and banana, maybe some PB, it tastes much more palatable due to the stronger taste of the fruits. I like this because it has a low calorie to protein ratio and helps me fill in the gap bc I’m severely under eating protein come to find out. So I can deal with the taste if it means I get more protein.

   Comes with 21g of protein per serving and no dairy which is great for my macros. I like to drink this as a preworkout shake, taste is a little bit bland but I sometimes add a little bit of fruit and it helps with the flavoring. Overall I’m happy with it.

   I’ve yet to find a plant based protein powder that doesn’t taste like powdered pea soup. It really doesn’t matter what they try to flavor it as, as peas are all you will ever taste. For this one in particular, even when doubling up on water, it still is very thick and powdery even after vigorous mixing. I also tried with milk and it didn’t help the taste much. Perhaps if you have a really strong tasting pre-work out it might help, but as it stands, it’s really tough to recommend this protein powder unless you absolutely have to have plant based. It’s worth noting that after about an hour, the shake was completely separated in layers and I had to mix again. This has never happened to me before with any of my protein shakes, but it wasn’t a big deal, just strange.

   We go through a lot of protein shakes in this household and are always looking to try new ones and new flavors. Unfortunately, this was a bust for of us. The teenagers didn’t like the flavor at all, and I myself was not a big fan. I’ll finish the container bag but I won’t enjoy it.

   The shake is a good source of protein. It mixes well and creates a thick shake. There is no scoop included, but I just used the scoop from other shakes, no big deal. The bag seals tightly and keeps it fresh.

   There’s nothing wrong with this shake mix it’s just nobody here is a fan of the flavor. Maybe it’s because we’re used to sweeter or flavorful shake but this didn’t cut it for us.

   We don’t really like the taste of this protein powder, especially when using just water. I find that it doesn’t dissolve well with milk, unless you put some effort with an electric whisker, and I can hardly taste the vanilla flavor. I am still gulping this down, but will not be trying this again. Also odd that it didn’t come with a scoop.

   I’ll be honest, when I first tried a sip of this in a smoothie, I didn’t like it. It’s a bit gritty, and has that vegetal taste that most pea protein has. But the more I drink it, the more I like it. I’ll definitely be using this again. It’s a great option for vegans, and includes several types of organic plant proteins. It seems to be a high quality product. The date stamp was almost 2 years out, so nice and fresh. Despite the nutrition facts listing “1 level scoop” as a serving, it does not include a scoop. This doesn’t bother me, as I use a scale to measure most ingredients. It comes in a Ziploc bag that I can’t get to reclose, so I’ll need to transfer it to another container. If you’re used to whey protein, this may take some getting used to as the texture is not as creamy and the taste is different. But as a vegan protein source this a great option, with 21g of protein per 38g serving.

   This NOW Foods Sports plant protein in vanilla is pretty good. It has a light vanilla flavor and it isn’t overly sweetened. The powder mixes alright with a very slight grainy texture and it’s easy on my stomach. The powder doesn’t come with a scoop and it arrived very fresh with an expiration date out almost 2 years from receiving it.

   The protein powder is decent. I mainly use it as an addition to my morning banana smoothie. I don’t taste any weird flavor and the consistency doesn’t change like it would with whey protein. My issue was that no scoop was in my bag (and I put gloves on and felt through the powder) and the serving size given is ‘1 scoop’ and then grams. So, unless I use a scale to weigh out my protein powder, I have no idea if I’m getting a full serving or not.

    This NOW Foods Sports Organic Plant Protein is nice, but if you’re coming from whey, the beansy flavor of pea protein can be a bit jarring. For plant protein, the carbs per serving amount seems low, which is good. And each serving amounts to a respectable amount of protein.

    This NOW Foods plant based vanilla protein is one of the better plant based proteins I’ve tried. It has pea, hemp, and pumpkin seed protein sources, so presumably it’s complete enough for your body to use. I usually take BCAAs with single plant based protein powders to make sure the proteins are complete.

    The vanilla flavor is a bit weak with this one. I enjoy the chocolate better, but I usually enjoy chocolate protein powders more than vanilla across the board. If you’re looking for something that won’t add much flavor to a smoothie, this is it. Chocolate usually overpowers the fruit in smoothies and I prefer vanilla since it lets the fruit shine.

    As others have mentioned, there’s wasn’t a scoop in either this or the chocolate one I tried. I assume that’s just a QC error and something that will change with future batches since the bag mentions a serving size as a scoop. Not a big deal for me since I usually weigh my supplements just to double check them, but might be a big issue for those without accurate food scales.
