My mom used to make us breakfast shakes with strawberry flavored Spiru-Tein. It was very tasty back then and very filling for hours. I decided to try it again as an adult to help deal with my hunger cravings in between meals during my pregnancy. It doesn’t have as much strawberry flavor and sweetness as I remembered it having when I was a kid ( I believe my mom used more scoops than rexommended to make sure it had a strong strawberry flavor and sweet taste). I wish the flavor was stronger with using just the recommended scoop/s for a single shake. The flavor is a bit on the bland side to me with adding Vanilla Soy milk to make a shake. But I do like the good quality ingredients of soy, brown rice, apple, spirulina, etc. I’ll probably try other soy protein shake brands of the same flacor to see how they compare before deciding to buy this brand again as a regular grocery item.
