   Why? It’s an excellent protein source and generally well tolerated. A minority of people with lactose intolerance experience stomach issues such as gas and bloating but these are uncommon. Lactose is the main carbohydrate found in whey protein. A scoop of this supplement from Natreve provides a reasonable 10 grams of protein at a cost of roughly $2.70 per serving.

   We do like the fudge brownie flavor. Yet also take a look at Natreve’s unflavored whey powder if you plan to use in smoothies like we do. It blends easily in other tasty concoctions, too. Like many protein powders, the Fudge Brownie bottle is large bit I do have to add this is the most beautifully designed supplement powder I have yet encountered!

   I’m used to and like a wide variety of supplemental proteins. I’m essentially on a plant-based diet, although somewhat flexible. This particular blend of protein is a bit out of the box in nature. It starts out with a plant-based fats blend, something I do need to balance out my diet. The protein blend comes next, which is whey-based. It’s not my favorite, but it does mix well. The unusual ingredient is the marine collagen, the biggest surprise. Now, this collagen, which isn’t the last ingredient, is important for bone health. This is one additive I definitely need in my diet. Exercise right along with it is also a real plus for bone density. I tend to shy away from any supplements in pill form and prefer to get what I need via the food route. For one thing, it tastes better and is so much more enjoyable. Back to the Natreve. I mixed it with some yogurt and it blended quite well. Pea protein is notoriously grainy so I can add as much as I want without a lot of clumping. I do prefer a chocolate taste, although this one didn’t have that heavy cocoa flavor I sometimes like. I can, however, add any kind of chocolate I prefer. My overall impression is that this protein powder is quite good, good with a twist. There’s only 10 grams of protein per serving so if you desire more, take a pass. There are a lot of allergen warnings so check out the label before purchase. The real plusses are the fats and collagen. If you are looking to maintain or improve your bone health, this would most certainly be a product to consider. The lower protein, on one level, doesn’t stress the kidney function.    This is a pretty good product but the volume is abundant! I assume this is due to The bulk supplement of collagen, but I have other keto supplements with twice as many scoop servings in half the volume. Taste wise, this mixes up well but does not smooth out for me mixing with almond milk, it continues to be chunky and have that “chalky milk” taste. Other than that, I really enjoyed it!

   Natreve once again wowed me…I substituted this in with my usual morning keto shake cocktail… What stands out most is the smooth(er) mouthfeel! Adds such a nice creaminess to my shake. The Fudge Brownie has a delicious light chocolate decadence to it, not very rich but a creamy, gooey brownie flavor to it. This is my second product from Natreve and I have become a huge fan now! Good size container, large scooper, fine ground powder, great ingredients and a delicious flavor. Price is pretty fair when compared to other keto powders, maybe even better valued than my usual choice!

   If you are on a keto diet program, this might make the process a bit more flavorful. It is low in sugars and carbs, and has a decent quantity of protein (10g) per 30g serving. There is also 13g of fat (7g saturated fats). The numbers that will affect keto dieters is 4g carbs and 1g sugars per that suggested serving. Regarding taste, the labelled Fudge Brownie flavor is an overstatement. The name conjures up a deep, rich chocolate flavor. This is not close. it has chocolate flavor notes, but misses on richness and depth. is it horrible? No, it is not horrible, but when you set the bar high, you create expectations. It can be used as a base flavor for a smoothie, with other flavors not having to compete much with the mix flavors. Also, it does taste better if used with almond, cashew milk, which adds a ’roundness’ and smoother aspect, perhaps a creamier sense with this powder. I would be happier with the product if it also had certifications like FDA, GMP and 3rd Party Tested affixed to the label. It does have a badge representing that it does not contain ingredients that would affect sport banned components. I would prefer to know that there were more safeguards concerning the quality of the components and aspects of processing. All things considered, this is a decent keto program whey protein mix. Based on the above mentioned issues, this blend rates 3 – 3.25 stars, with a moderate level recommendation.

    Wow, I don’t understand people disliking this protein powder I think it’s amazing! I’m personally a fan of thicker beverages, so if that’s not your type of beverage I can see that being a reason not to like it; but everything else about this powder is amazing. I love the taste and thing it goes exceptionally well with bananas and blueberries, those are my main fruits for smoothies. I also don’t use water for my shakes, almond milk definitely blends better in comparison. I’m also a very big fan of pea protein and think it adds a unique flavor that to some I can see not being very palatable but I think it’s delicious (the sweetener isn’t very overbearing). The ingredients of this powder are great and a perfect vegan alternative, the sugar is low and there isn’t many carbs or fats.

    If you’re in need of a low sugar, low carb, low fat, and a protein packed vegan powder with probiotics, I’d definitely give this a try.
