   The first time I opened the package, the zipper broke and the powder flew around a little bit, despite being gentle opening it. Not a huge deal. I like the mildness of the flavor, I don’t notice it at all in my tea or smoothies. I feel like my hair has become stronger and less frizzy since I started using this a couple of months ago. Price is comparable at $16/pound. It has lasted me about 7 weeks so far.

   I have been taking collagen for a few years and thought to give this brand a try. I used this entire package prior to giving a review. Over this time period I have noticed no difference in this product or the brand I was previously using. I did find this price very favorable for a similar product as I was previously purchasing. This Multi collagen peptides powder, includes types I, II, III, V, and X, collagen with added biotin, Vitamin C, and hyaluronic acid.

   Nice big bag of multi collagen powder. Powder mixes well in basically any liquid that I’ve mixed it with. Unflavored, so it can be mixed into basically anything. Good value for the price. Only negative is that it’s in a bag rather than a plastic tub. These bags have so-so quality with the “zippers” and are generally messier in terms of digging your hand into the bag to scoop the powder out.

   Got the 2lb bag of this collagen for a good value! Very good price point, considering such high quality collagen in it. I work out occasionally. I’m over 50. I ran out of collagen and decided to try something new and this is great! How does it taste? It tasted like nothing blended really well into my coffee! I was afraid it would change my coffee but it didn’t. I add it to my daily coffee and I love it! Now I know I’ll still be able to enjoy my coffee but able to take it premium collagen. This is awesome! A++++!

   I have been using collagen with protein supplements for years, but this one is a little different in that it also has biotin, vitamin C, and hyaluronic acid. It comes with a scoop. I add mine to my hot tea, and there is no detectable taste. I was curious about the smell, so I did smell it, and it wasn’t my favorite scent. Note to self: Don’t smell the protein powder. 🙂 It seems to be good for you in so many ways. I love that I can’t taste it. I hope you find this review and picture helpful!

   So I like what all this has in health value however opening the bag a whiff of the 1980s protein powder whacks me into nostalgia of my past. It does identify as protein for sure. In my smoothie there is no flavor interesting enough. The lab checks out however 2 spoon fulls several times a day seems like marketing fir quicker purchases. High in cysteine is concerning with its relation to kidney stones. Otherwise a fair supplement.

    I think this is a pretty good product. When it comes to supplements like this, I grade them on 3 criteria: 1) does the powder mix well 2) how is the flavor 3) quality of the ingredient list So in regards to the powder mixing, it doesn’t mix as smooth as a highly refined protein isolate. But to be fair, it mixes about as well as any other collagen product. When you open the bag, you get a hint of vanilla smell, but it is as advertised and flavorless. This is nice as you can mix it with whatever you want and won’t taint the flavor. I’ll usually add it to my morning coffee. As far as the ingredients go, this is usually the most important aspect for me, it seems like this product is on the up and up. The ingredient list is simple, straightforward and without fillers. Which is exactly what I want. The calories match up with the nutritional content, which you’d be surprised isn’t always the case. And the collagen sources are from normal sources. They’ve even added a couple of things like vitamin C and biotin which is great for hair and nails. Additional note, I was actually pleasantly surprised by the size of the bag I received. I ordered it totally thinking I’d get some small container with few servings, but this bag actually comes with 82 servings. It’s rare nowadays to get more than expected. So with that said, the price point actually seems fair for the amount your getting.

    I stopped buying collagen peptide powder when the price at my local co-op increased to about $35 a pound. At $40 for 2 lbs., this is a relatively good deal. I like that it is colorless & unflavored, so that it blends into any food. I add it to the water when I cook oatmeal. It seems to have many nutrients. I haven’t found the scoop yet, & the bag is not quite as easy to seal as a cannister.

    *Update* 45 days later. I really like this collagen. I am about halfway through the 2lb. bag, and I add two scoops to my morning coffee everyday. It dissolves almost immediately, and I don’t notice a taste at all (with other collagens I have just bared with the taste until it got too much to handle – this one is totally fine and I don’t notice it at all anymore). What I have noticed is a big change in my nails and hair, and skin. Potentially a slight improvement in joint pain, but I need longer to really tell if there’s a difference. But the difference in nails is marked – I’m a metalsmith and my nails usually cannot survive all the nicks scratches and scrapes. But I spent all day in the studio yesterday and my nails did great and are longer than they’ve ever been! Initial impressions: The smell and taste is better than the beef-based collagen I’ve tried in the past (and much more sustainable!). This is a fish-based collagen (and some chicken), and still has a very slight smell and taste to it, but is definitely more bearable than others I have tried. I’m honestly not sure I would notice if I weren’t aware – I added it to my coffee and had my spouse try some, and he did not notice a difference even after I mentioned it. Also this bag is big! And I like the quality and length of the scoop that comes with it. I’ll have to report back on the effects long-term.

    So I was really excited to get a 2 pound bag, over 80 day supply of collagen for such a great price!! Plus the ammount of collagen per serving is terrific!! That is definitely my reasons for the 5 stars. I put mine it water. It does dissolve pretty well once I shake it. (I like my water room temperature)

    My only complaint is the taste and smell. It does have a bit of an off putting taste and smell that can be overwhelming. But so do a lot of other collagen supplements I’ve taken in the past. If they could find a way to mask the taste and smell then I would have literally no complaints.

    This a a great product that combines the collagen peptides with other supplements that help the body use the collagen properly. It mixes easily and doesn’t taste too terribly horrible. I think actually that is due to it having the fish collagen and not the beef which seems to be the not so yummy kind. It’s so nice to not have to use a collagen powder then also use separate supplements to boost the use of the peptides since this is all-in-one. This just mixes up in coffee or broth and makes it easy to support your skin and joint health. Two pounds lasts a long time and makes this a really great value.
