   This cookies and cream whey protein drink is pretty good. It’s got both essential and non essential amino acids, 2 net carbs and 23 grams of protein per scoop! The flavor is good and it mixes fairly well with almond milk and/or water. I like this as a post workout snack. I personally need protein shakes to get my daily protein as well, so it’s not like you have to workout to get the benefits this mix could provide to you.

   Update: received a replacement. Same batch. It expires in a November and we’re at the end of October right now. Not acceptable. Removed a star because now I’m just mad. I can’t get anyone from mtn ops to respond to me and have tried through their site and Instagram. Pretty disappointed. Just received this today so I haven’t even gotten to taste it yet. The canister is barely filled halfway and it expires NEXT MONTH, 11/2018. I also ordered some ignite which is filled as it should be, almost to the top, and doesn’t expire until 2020. 2 stars for good scent.

   To me, texture is a huge thing for protein powders. I really prefer a protein powder that’s able to dissolve and mix well. The main issue that I have with this protein powder is that it doesn’t mix the best – either it’s a bit too clumpy, or it becomes really frothy from mixing so much. However, apart from this, I think that this is a great protein powder. Overall, the flavor profile is quite nice. It definitely has more of a candy-like strawberry flavor than a real one, but it is quite enjoyable. I personally would recommend mixing this protein powder with milk for the best flavor, as that adds a bit of a creaminess to enhance the strawberry with cream flavor. Not to mention, this protein powder has great nutrition information. In a 31 gram serving, there is 23 grams of protein, which is quite good. Not only this, but this protein powder has L-glutamine and BCAAs also, and it has a healthier focus than some other protein powders. This one has no sugar and very low fat per serving, which I look for in a great protein powder. Not to mention, this protein powder also has quite a great shelf life, with a best by date of about 18 months after I got it. If you are a big strawberry fan and want an effective and nutritious protein powder without filler ingredients, I think that this is a great choice. If you can get past the sub-optimal texture or are fine mixing until it’s frothy, then go for it. I give it 4/5 stars, mainly on account of the texture.

   Mixed with milk this has excellent flavor, very similar to a chocolate malt. Mixed with about 10 oz of whole milk it is melted milkshake consistency. It has a clean finish and no aftertaste. The ingredient list is short and clean. The cost is very reasonable per serving for the amount of protein it contains. This will be my go to recovery shake for my 8 month training cycle.

    I have tried so many powders in my lifetime but I am glad I ran in to this MTN OPS Magnum 100% Whey Isolate Protein Powder its a game changer and will be a staple on the protein board. The flavor is insane Chocolate and Peanut butter a perfect combo made for a nice frothy peanutty taste with the chocolate blend without the chalky taste or after taste you get from every other powder out there which is the biggest pro you can ask for in a protein drink period and of course you can always add more PB if you are a PB Junkie like me lol. The shake comes out so tasty and creamy you would never guess all that is packed in there from the protein to several amino acids making it a must have while while keeping in shape or just that awesome meal replacement.

    Got this for my teenager, so I asked him to help me write the review. Got a one sentence review… “One of the better ones, Dad”. Okay, great. Lets work this onion and observe. The scoop is huge in comparison to some of the other containers of protein powders he has right now. It was up near the top and easy to reach. Unlike the last container he got (of a different brand) where it had settled to the bottom and was a nightmare to get out. I know because I had to clean up the aftermath from the kitchen counter. I pushed for more, and got that it mixed up well. and tasted great. A teen of many words… Finally, “You done good, Dad”. Beaming with pride, I recommend this to others!

    I’ve tried a lot of protein powders over the years. I’m not that picky but once I find one I like, I buy it again. Chocolate flavor is great.     Review for: MTN OPS Magnum 100% Whey Isolate Protein Powder So this is a whey protein powder. Whey is the liquid by-product of making cheese and when it has been further processed to remove most of the fat and lactose it becomes a concentrated isolate. In an isolate form, it absorbs faster and is lower in calories. It is also easier to digest and will usually find it is a ‘finer’ powder type material This has to be my favorite flavor of protein powder to date – Cookies & Cream, but some people may find it too ‘sweet’ for their taste. 110 calories per serving, 30 servings per container. I prefer making a smoothing out of it with milk versus just plain water I like MTN OPS products and will continue to order them. Made in the USA!

    I really like this protein. Lately, I’ve been trying a few different planet-based proteins, but I’m back to whey. Looks like I came back at the right time. This Mocha flavored protein is delicious. It has a frothy milky taste. It tastes and smells just like the mocha drinks I get at my favorite coffee shop. It’s really good, but for me taste comes second to the ingredients. MTN OPS Magnum is a great protein for bodybuilders like me. This has Whey Isolate Protein meaning it absorbs quickly and easily digestible in the body, compared to regular whey protein. MTN OPS Magnum has some of the best ingredients I’ve seen in protein in a long time. BCAAs help maximize recovery and muscle growth. Other essential amino acids in this protein consist of Leucine, L-Glutamine and more. This Whey Isolate Protein is a bodybuilder dream. Good taste, and great ingredients. If you’re new to weight training these are the ingredients, you’ll need. I highly recommend this protein. But I do have one Con with this product. It came half full. “Sad face”, but that won’t stop me from giving it five stars.

    I have had many protein brands and flavors over the years. This one measures up to some of the best. The flavor is not outstanding but definitely not terrible. I usually mix them with pre-workout or post-workout instead of having it alone. I do like how I feel after, and it does seem as if it is helping. All of the MTN OPS products have been good.     I’ve had a LOT of protein shakes in the last few years and I can tell you that this is one of the most—if not THE most—delicious mix I’ve tried. It was a little surprising because it has a bit of an off scent to it (I’m thinking the peanut butter component smells weird because I’ve experienced that in other peanut powders). Once I tasted this though I was hooked. It’s delicious. Of course, they use a not-so-natural sweetener (sucralose) that tastes great but has had some negative studies done on it. I don’t think it’s something to worry about if you have one of these a day, though I admit I went back for seconds after my first one of these. So good. Besides the sucralose, it has pretty good ingredients. It’s a high-quality protein mix with 23g of whey and egg mix. Unfortunately, that doesn’t come with healthy fats as each serving only has .5g of the good stuff. They don’t list sugar, which might mean there’s none but from my experience with these mixes, it probably has a gram of it even with the low-lactose whey. The 18% calcium is a nice little bonus though there’s not much else in the way of essentials here. This is not a meal replacement. It is a very tasty protein supplement. The scoops are pretty big (pictured) but the container is pretty big too so this will last a month at a shake a day.

    First off, this has a decent protein profile with 23g of isolate and only 3g of carbs in a 110cal scoop. The flavor tastes good, a touch more peanut-buttery than chocolatey. It seems to mix alright, but I can sense a bit more of a powdery finish than I can with some other brands like Dymatize Iso 100 when mixed using a shaker bottle. It dissolves well enough but not perfectly. The price is also a little higher than many other brands that tend towards a dollar an ounce. At the time I’m writing this, it’s $1.33 an ounce. Lastly, if it bothers you, this doesn’t use stevia for sweetening. It unfortunately uses sucralose, which can cause gastric distress in some folks.
