   Was looking for a product that I could get a good amount of collagen in, since I am struggling with issues with both my hair and nails. I ordered this in hopes to mix it into my smoothies without having the weird taste that comes along with most protein powders. I tried first to add this to my coffee and found that, although it is unflavored it still has that protein powder after taste. Which was disappointing. I tried it in smoothies as well as still a hint of protein powder after taste even though this is collagen peptides, the taste is there. Some people are more tolerable to that then me, so that’s why I only took away 1 single star, because with an after taste-it’s still technically has a flavor. The scoop of it is a decent size and when mixed into a beverage it disappears quickly. didn’t have any issues with it getting clumpy in my coffee or anything like that. Powder is very fine. It mixed very well into both smoothie and coffee. Product appears to have quality ingredients and is also gluten free. Would still recommend this product!

   It’s sticky. I associate stickiness with quality. This is great quality stuff! It dissolves well in hot beverages. And it is flavorless. Both are good attributes. The ingredient profile is optimal. Fellas, don’t shy away. Great looking skin, hair, and nails to augment a perfectly chiseled body is what the women want. It shows that you care about your health and appearance. For that reason alone, I recommend this product especially to men.

   I’ve been using collagen peptide powder since 2018. I’ve run through a couple different brands and settled on the one which is commonly sold nationwide in grocery stores (and at Costco). This MTN OPS powder has almost the same exact ingredients and does have the same caloric count. Where is differs, is that this powder is far lower in sodium than the major brand, which I consider a big plus. What I do not consider a plus is that this powder does not dissolve quite as well as the name brand. It does dissolve, but I have found it dissolves better in a hot liquid than a cold one (so I’m not putting it in my morning smoothie — it goes in my coffee). The brand is comparable in price to the name brand — but it is just a wee bit more expensive. Overall satisfied with the product.

   I purchased this after an amazing review from a loved one. She sent video of hers dissolving in her morning coffee and/or smoothie, raving about her skin, hair and nails. I was using another brand I was quite satisfied with, but wanted to try this product. As you can see from the photo, it is clumping in my smoothie. It did the same in my tea. It has a powdery yellow look vs hers which looked white and seemed to melt into her drinks. The clump very visible in my photo is what is all through my smoothie. Help please

   I had ordered this once before through Mtn Ops.. I ran out and didn’t think I really needed to reorder… I was wrong! Not only did I notice healthier hair and nails from the collagen, it helped me joints immensely! I have a bum knee and I had minimal issues with it while taking this.

   I will say, if you follow the directions, 1 scoop for 16-20 ounces of water, that’s awful! I mix it in my big water bottle that holds about 36 ounces and it’s still noticeable. It does have a slight taste, so I mix it and let it set for a little bit before drinking. I have never tried putting it in coffee or a smoothie, I’m sure the taste of the collagen is mild enough that it would be covered up.

   Overall, I would recommend this. Like I said, I usually order straight from Mtn Ops, but during the corona virus quarantine, it was sold out. I was so thankful bestproteinpowder4women.net was stocked!

   Received the package in February 2023 and it has an expiration date of 05/2024. This is more than 1 year of shelf life. Included in the package is a scoop that holds about 2.5 tablespoons of powder. The direction called for a scoop of this collagen to your favorite beverage. I found this a little vague as in should this be added to one cup of beverage or two cups of beverage? Although collagen has neutral taste, I didn’t want to overpower the mix, so: – I mixed only 1 tablespoon of this collagen to 3 tablespoons of Tang juice powder. – Mixed the powder together before adding 12oz of water. Taste did not change. Health benefit unknown. I have not used this long enough to see the difference. On top of that, I also take vitamin/supplements, so will I notice the difference this product bring. Probably not. The only thing I could think of is the finger nail strength. We ate jello with extra gelatin and notice the difference in finger nail. So, perhaps, this will tell me if the health benefits of collagen work. Will see.

    I was so curious to try this collagen peptide protein powder! Protein powder supplements are all the rage with the fit and healthy crowd right now, and that’s a group I’d like to be a part of! I’m a fan of protein powders and often use them before I go jogging or work out. From my experience, they vary greatly in quality & taste. This particular one has a great taste & smell in my opinion that works well to blend into a shake or smoothie. 🥤 I thought it would taste like vanilla, but it’s more of a plain, creamy, dairy slightly salted taste, that would work well mixed as into a chocolate or coffee flavored smoothie, in my opinion. I like that it contains 18 g of protein and 20 g of collagen peptides. As we age, we gradually lose collagen and using good quality products like this one is an enjoyable way to fight or at least slow down that process! Collagen can boost the health of your hair, skin and nails. 💅 One more Cool 😎 thing about this product is that they donate to Conquer Hunger, a charity that provides meals to children in need, which is awesome ! Always check with your healthcare provider to make sure any new protein powders or supplements you try will be safe for you.     Great source of collagen and to add extra protein to your post workout shake. I take scoop of this and my go to protein powder mix it with 12 oz of water or milk depending on how im feeling and it mixes well. Does not clump and does not affect the flavor of my protein powder.

    This stuff is awesome! My hair and nails are growing like crazy, and I don’t feel as many creaky cracks in my joints (getting old sucks). I have put it in both cold and hot liquids, but I prefer hot. I mix it with cold water and my Mtn Ops Ignite, but it takes quite a bit of effort to get them both to dissolve that way. When I mix it with hot tea it dissolves instantly and I can’t even tell it is in there.

    I mixed this product with just water and found just about zero flavor. Which is good. This peptide powder is bovine collagen, and a good source of protein. The “scoop” is about 2.5TBSP I also like the fact that this is made in the USA. I have not used this long enough to know if it helps with pain relief, but I’ve read it is supposed to.

    I got this for the humungous amount of Collagen one scoop provides. The RDA ( recommended daily allowance ) is about 12 to 15 grams so with this we have more than enough. This is a great way to really boost results IMO. Our body’s natural collagen production starts a steady decline about our mid 20’s. And slowly but surely that causes ( may) bad things. Many people think of just skin with collagen but it’s so much more than that. Eyes, heart, tendons, ligaments, internal organs, hair, nails, veins, and much much more come into play. We tend to notice skin benefits more because we can see it ! My spouse noticed leg pain improvement rather fast will collagen ! I prefer marine collagen for skin but bovine collagen offers a wider spectrum of benefits which is a reason I like to use it every now and then. Now poultry collagen type 2 has been reported most beneficial for joints but as I stated my spouse saw huge improvement with Bovine collagen and very little with poultry. There is no information given whether any third party testing that was done on this. It does say on the back of the bag ” through extensive product development and testing, Eva worked closely with Mtn Ops to develop a product she would not only be proud of but knew would improve the lives of women and mothers like her.”. From reading the other reviews it appears that Mtn Ops is a reputable company that many people like. There is mention that this is Eva Shockey’s signature series collagen. So my best guess is those who know this company and her appear to have a great level of faith in her product(s). I must say its not rocket science with Bovine collagen as its basically ground up/boiled cow bones with collagen extracted. Now getting it hydrolyzed (peptide) appears to be tricky but still. And I do notice this is a small business which I love to support. So I noticed no taste and love the 20 grams I get in one scoop. I normally never give any supplement product 5 stars if it’s not third party tested but with this, there seems to be a great deal of pride in making something (may) really awesome. As you can see by my scale this came in at 23.05 grams with the scooper weight tared out in weight. The bag states 20 grams so it goes without saying I am very impressed ! That is a lot of collagen in one scoop. If I was Eva I would be proud of this too !Good Luck and hope this was helpful.
