   I ordered this protein powder for my son. After an intense workout, my son always drinks a protein shake. Unfortunately, he did not like this protein powder. Despite the vanilla taste, the cocktail had a very strong aftertaste and smell of fish. My son could not finish this cocktail, and I didn’t even try it, because I didn’t even like the smell. But this is only for our taste, maybe someone will like this protein powder. I note that the powder mixes well in a blender and no lumps remain after mixing.

   I’ve been mixing it with Almond Milk and I absolutely LOVE it!! I also tried blending it with frozen strawberries and yogurt to give it a smoothie-like feel and it’s amazing.

   MACRO NUTRITION Monster Mammal Patent Pending Krill Protein looks good on nutrition but the Krill protein included gives it a foul smell in the jar that also affects the taste. This is the first Krill Protein powder I have tried and have no idea if this is normal for krill protein powder or not. it mixed up well but i could not drink it and dumped it down the drain. I didn’t mention it had krill and made a glass for my wife and first sip she made a face and said it taste like fish. No thanks, I have tried many different protein powders and this is the first jar I have thrown in the trash.

   Warning, do not buy this, it would be better to mix sardines with whey, worst protein powder I’ve ever had , and I’m 55 years old, it sounded like a good idea, the Amino profile is good, but I couldn’t even get one serving down,

   Macro Nutrition Monster Mammal Patent Pending Krill Protein powder has a great ingredient profile. This is the first krill product that I have tried. The protein powder mixes well but I am not a fan of the fishy smell. The initial chocolate flavor is palatable until the after taste of fish sets in. It’s a strange flavor combination! I really like the health benefits but I struggled to drink an entire serving. Overall, I think this is a great product if you can stomach the flavor profile.

   I really like the concept of this protein powder, and it’s a good value because of the very large amount of powder you get, compared to other powder brands. It mixes easily in liquid with a shaker cup. While I personally don’t like the seafood-heavy taste and smell (I normally don’t eat seafood at all), another seafood-loving family member likes the taste just fine. So I would say, if you really like seafood, or have a poor sense of smell, this protein powder is for you.
