   Most protein supplements in stores that I have seen are extremely expensive, and filled with a lot of extra vitamins and other additives that I don’t really want to pay extra for (I get enough of them in my diet already). The only protein supplement I found in stores that was close to what I wanted was bags of just pure pea protein powder, which (if you’ve ever had pea protein before you will know) does not have the greatest flavour.

   This product from Pure Product Australia was exactly what I was looking for, just pure casein protein with just a smidgeon of chocolate flavouring to make it actually quite palatable, and nothing else. Quite unbeatable for the price (for what its worth, their other supplements are good value too)

   Flavour is fine, a very mild and not very sweet choc flavour, so perfect if you don’t like excessively sweet powders laden with tons of artificial sweeteners.

   That being said, I HIGHLY doubt that this product is casein, as casein when mixed with water typically forms a thick clumpy paste, however this powder dissolved SUPER easily and was wayyyyyy too smooth to be casein. Plus, when I made protein bars with this powder it had the characteristic stickiness (iykyk) that is associated with whey, so I really really REALLY suspect that the manufacturer here is lying about this product being ‘pure’ casein. So much for their brand name too, lol. What’s even more sus to me is the fact that this product does not have a sticker/label that declares itself to be lab tested or third party tested, so that’s another major red flag to me on the purity of this product.

   Won’t foresee myself buying this again, simply because of the above reasons, unless the manufacturer is willing to prove me wrong otherwise…(I’ll be waiting for a reply)

   This tastes sooooooo much better than the plant based protein powder, however, I found this spiked my lood sugar levels leaving me hungry again after 60 mins. Obviously casein doesn’t agree with my biology

   I tried this out and was really surprised by how good it tastes given the price. I used to use ON gold standard casein, but this is about 1/3rd the price and taste really good.

   Definitely recommend as you can pay much more and get much worse.

   Great job and I will try some of your other products soon
