Received product in sufficient cardboard packaging. Opened plastic jar and the thick paper that covers the actual powder was completely on, however, once pulled back this is what it looked like. And I can’t just chip it in pieces. Its like a clay type substance. I don’t know what happened but yuck. I see it says I can’t return it. I’ll see what I can do with it, but not impressed for my first purchase of it.

But it’s supposed to be white and it is dark and it is hard and unusable. After many failed attempts of buying horrible tasting bcaa’s from other companies, I am so glad I finally found these unflavored BCAA’s!

Other companies and products defer me when I see dyes added which are not necessary and not something I want to consume. I love using the unflavored option and have been mixing it with an electrolyte powder to create my own flavored BCAA’s when I workout. Consuming this product helps me stay hydrated when pushing myself to fatigue. I have competed in figure competitions in the past and enjoy high intensity cross fit style workouts today and these have been a vital part in my recovery. I also love that this brand includes glutamine in their amino profile, which is something you sometimes have to add.

One con of this product is the added sucrolose in the unflavored option. Not sure why this is necessary in this case, but it does not leave an aftertaste when consumed so that’s a plus!

Flavor is good on this product I can either use it on its own or mix other supplements with it and it’s not too powerful at all. I really like metabolic nutrition and I’m comfortable using their products so this is one I’d definitely buy again. I do have to use about 2 scoops for best effects. But I am also a person that can get sore very easily regardless especially during leg days. For best results I drink two scoops in about 12-16 ounce of water about a full shaker cup usually. And I drink it throughout my workout. And finish anything left immediately after my workout is over if there is anything left. I’ve noticed if I don’t drink if with a full serving of water it doesn’t work as well for me so it’s not one I can just do a shot with a little water they go hand in hand it’s this product. I’d definitely recommend this for anyone that struggles with soreness etc after workouts.

I’ve been using this brand of BCAA’s for several years now. I really can’t speak highly enough about it. I love the watermelon flavor and the way it dissolves completely- not tasting powdery or gritty. I can definitely tell an increase in my performance and my recovery time is insanely quick. When I have not been using Tripep, my recovery time is much longer. I do like the fact that it seems to help reduce fatigue and also preserves lean muscle. You definitely won’t go wrong choosing this BCAA brand!
