   I was initially surprised by the large serving size of the included scoop. It takes a 46g scoop to get your 23g of protein. The protein powers I’ve used in the past are typically 27g scoop for about 20g of protein. However, when you factor in cost, it is comparable but this protein powder does provide the added benefit of the amino acids. This is a whey based protein powder which I tend to favor over soy based. What I really liked that set this protein powder apart is the flavor. I ordered the vanilla and it tastes great. A very subtle vanilla flavor with no after tastes. I like to blend it in a blender with milk and a banana to thicken things up. A great way to kick up your smoothies.

   This has a nice protein combo of whey and casein, and at 23 grams of protein per serving, it is up there. Also , I like that this combines casein and whey protein since they both have different absorb times in the body. My only real issue with this protein blend is the use of the artificial sweeteners sucralose and acesulfame potassium.

   I initially picked this up for my teenage son who is always trying to get more protein into himself! He picked out the cookies and cream flavor and we were all pleasantly surprised at how good it tastes! Not chalky and super fake tasting like we had anticipated! The scoop is tremendous and a full scoop provides 180 calories and 23 grams of protein. My son typically adds this to smoothies that he makes with milk, fruit, and greens. It makes for a satisfying meal that holds him for a few hours. This may not seem like much, but at 16, he appears to eat constantly! As someone who can only stomach coffee in the morning, I started stirring a heaping spoonful of the cookies and cream powder into my morning coffee as a sort of creamer and it’s quite nice! My teenage daughter now likes it mixed with coffee over ice as like a protein latte. I like the blend of amino acids and that this is made in the USA. Overall, I am pleasantly surprised and would not hesitate to grab additional flavors.

   First off: the scoop in this thing is huge. One scoop = one serving, but that serving is 46g. I wasn’t expecting that. However, I was surprised that it mixes very nicely. It clumps wayyy less than most protein powders I’ve tried over the years. In fact, it barely clumped at all. And the chocolate flavor is very good. It doesn’t have a bad aftertaste, which is a relief. I have been using this to make an iced mocha. I fill my cup 3/4s full with ice, then 1/2 way up with cold brew coffee, the other half with unsweetened vanilla oat milk. Finally, I add a scoop of this protein powder and shake it well. Give it a try, it’s delicious! My only critiques of this are the size of the scoop/serving and the fact that it contains sucralose. But in the grand scheme of things, this is a quality beginner protein powder.

   Update: Tried it with oat milk. If you want a bold flavor add more, subtle add less.

   I just tried some of this today. I actually put it in my coffee with cream and heated it up. I didn’t measure, I put about 3 TBS inside my coffee. Once heated it dissolved. It was not too strong where the coffee tasted artificial. I have not tried it as a drink yet, however I did get oat milk to mix in with it. I’m excited to try it as a shake. I might get the salted caramel next and use the powder to bake cookies. Not sure how that will work out. The powder is thick and the container has a scoop in it. The container was air tight sealed on arrival, which I like. Once opened it is easy to use. I like the subtle flavor as I believe I can use this for a variety of things. I’ve never had protein powder before, this is my first time, and I was apprehensive to get this. But so far I like it. I felt like it was a good price for someone new to the protein powder scene.

   First time user. Bought Elite, Syntha, Opti and a few others over the last two decades. This stuff is great. Mixes as well as hydro whey and the choc tastes great. Decent amount of BCAAs with higher than average glutamine. Dont have to buy Casien and Whey now. Just use this after the morning workout and before bed.

   No really much to be said huh, notice I’m not getting nearly as much protein in the diet as I should, probably an issue most people in general experience. The flavor is good which is pretty important for anything your going to drink consistently and really helps fill in the gaps!

   The flavor is really good. I have other protein powders that barely taste like cookies and cream. This one the flavor was strong for me. I tried it both with (oat)milk and water, and I preferred it more with water. My favorite way of making it is as a smoothie with some greek yogurt.
