   I really like the ingredients and flavor of this collagen powder! I love that the collagen is from grass fed cows. The sweetener is stevia extract. Also, there are no unknown “natural flavors.” The only drawback to this powder is the price. At the time of writing, it’s $49.95 for 30 servings. This is about $1.66 per serving. For an individual, that’s not outrageous. For my family of 6, who are all very active and drink the protein shake, it adds up quickly. Overall, I do really like the tasty chocolate and quality ingredients!

   I’m not a fan of the chocolate flavor of this. It doesn’t mix too well in other things like the vanilla version. It makes things taste rather grainy.    I’m impressed by the high protein content: 9 grams of protein out of 11.7 gram serving. It also doesn’t have addend sugar. I put this along with other powder I use for my shake. I don’t really taste anything strong from it. I hardly could tell it apart. So it is pretty good: it doesn’t change the taste of my shake, but it brings up the protein. It’s worth noting that the pouch definitely looks bigger than it actually is. I knew it’s 30 servings, 360 grams, but when I see the pouch I was still surprised that it’s half empty.

   This Livingood Daily Collagen Powder has a pleasant vanilla flavor that is not overly sweet. I add it to my hot tea and it dissolves easily and completely without any clumps. When I add this to my tea, I don’t need to add any extra sweetener. But while the collagen powder itself is fine, I’m very confused by the Supplement and Nutritional information on the packaging. The bestproteinpowder4women.net listing says that it is Hydrolyzed Collagen Peptide Powder but the package itself does not say that. Is it hydrolyzed or is it the whole protein? I also like that it has all the amino acids but again the packaging is lacking in that it doesn’t list the amount of each amino acid. I was able to find a list of the amino acids on the drlivingood website, but it should be listed on the packaging since that is a major selling point. So the product seems great, but the packaging needs to emphasize what makes it great.

    Livingood Daily Chocolate Collagen Powder arrived as described with no issues. To sum up my review. I love it. Great taste, good ingredients, a low calorie and carb powder. It is priced comparable to other quality brands. Thus, I consider it affordable and a good value. I used in it by itself but it made a great addition to my morning hot chocolate. I found myself making this apart of my daily morning routine. Also, it dissolves completely in water or with almond milk. It did. It clump. It has a good chocolate flavor. It’s not overly sweet but that is good, since, I mixed with a reduce calorie hot chocolate. I could indulge and not feel guilty. I have no complaints. The product exceeded my expectations and will purchase again once I have exhausted the other brand I have. Highly recommend.

    I have been taking collagen, hyaluronic acid, biotin, and vitamin C for over 7 months now and have gotten good results (see picture). Each scoop of this powder contains 9 grams of collagen and 9 grams of protein as well as vitamin C. I like being able to take additional collagen in the afternoon along with protein powder so this is ideal for that. What I didn’t care for was the taste. It is vanilla flavored and sweeten with Stevia (which is a big plus for me) but I haven’t found a way to take it that is very palatable. Yesterday I tried it in unsweetened vanilla almond milk and that may be the best bet but it tasted a little overwhelming to me. This afternoon I tried a scoop in cold water and that didn’t taste very good. I actually prefer unsweetened and unflavored collagen powder so that I can mix it into my orange juice in the morning.

I think the chocolate flavor is ok but similar to many other powders on the market. Quality wise is appears to be a great choice due to the extra vitamins, all 20 amino acids, and protein. I have been using it to add into a shake in the morning to help get my day started.     I take collagen because it is a slow digesting protein with an amino acid profile that corresponds very well to what the human body needs, because a significant portion of the protein in the human body is collagen. I generally take Orgain collagen (https://www.bestproteinpowder4women.net.com/gp/product/B07BL69CD2) in my coffee and have been very happy with it. Hence, I will be comparing this Livingood to it. The first red flag I found was on the nutritional information label, see picture. The serving size is listed as 9.7g with 9g of Collagen Hydrolyzed Bovine. The other listed components add up to 108mg, leaving 592mg unaccounted for. Looking at the Other Ingredients section, you can see that Organic Whole Pea Protein is listed there. Per USDA rules, ingredients that are less than 1g per serving do not have to be broken out on the label, which is why TicTacs can claim to have 0g of sugar per serving, despite being entirely sugar. I suspect something similar is occurring here, and this powder may be up to 7% pea protein by weight. This powder does not dissolve as well as the Ograin powder I usually get. I have attached several pictures of 10g of powder dissolved in 100g of boiling water in identical glasses. In all pictures the Ograin is on the left and the Livingood on the right. The Ograin dissolved almost entirely just by adding water, whereas the Livingood did not. After fully stirring both cups, the Ograin was fully dissolved with no foam or particles. The Livingood still had significant foam and was cloudy. When taste testing the Livingood had a noticeably chalkiness that got stronger the closer you get to the bottom of the glass. The Ograin is unnoticeable in coffee. I dislike that this powder has been bulked out with other ingredients. Vitamin C is vital for protein synthesis in the body, but water soluble forms have poor bioavailability and I fear that most of the Vitamin C added to this powder will not end up being absorbed.
