   I read quite a bit of reviews before purchasing and thought I would go for it. First time trying it, I am pleasantly surprised. I added 1 scoop to my hot green tea, no sweeteners, and just like other powdered collagen’s it changes the look of your drink, but NO TASTE difference for me. I forgot and poured the entire scoop in my tea all at once, so it did clump up, however all I had to do was take the back of my spoon and press the clump against my glass to break it up, stir a couple times, and voila all mixed together! I typically don’t mix my collagen with cold drinks or put it on my food so I cannot attest to that. This is a very small bag, so I was a little taken back by the amount of collagen you get vs. the price; however, this collagen does have Type I and III in it which is exactly what I wanted as the other brand I was taking, that I won’t mention, did not have both Types in it and was much cheaper. I plan to do the same measurement daily to see just how long it lasts and how I feel once I finish the bag. If all goes well, I will be ordering again!

   Absolutely love this powder! Sure it’s great for your hair, skin, and nails. But I mainly got it for joint support. I have a degenerative hip for being so young and this helps a lot combined with anti inflammatory. I’m using it to help me hold off on my hip replacement surgery as long as we can. It’s flavorless, but makes water look a little cloudy so most people think you’re drinking dirty water which is kinda funny. I usually combine with liquid iv in the morning to help get me hydrated and feeling good for the day. Other drink combos I use with is tea, coffee, smoothies, etc.

    Update 2: taking for almost 3 years my skin is butter soft. Make sure to put peptides in first and pour HOT over so it properly dissolves. Not sure about sprinkling on food I think it would clump…?Very good product and I’m still so thankful I kept the container from my first order it scoops out with minimal mess. Update: 1 year and couple months with these peptides and I’m still satisfied. An added bonus is that I can choose skin products that don’t have peptide ingredients because I’m getting them internally- which I think is more beneficial. I’m on the subscription and even though I use the measured scoop daily I sometimes delay the next delivery because there is always extra at the end of the month. As far as I can tell the formula has not changed, just the packaging. I’m so glad I kept the container that the very first delivery came in because I just transfer it from the zip bags the company started using. My mother also takes these peptides.     I know everybody’s raving about this product however, it caused me to break out into full body hives for days, after only consuming it for a day and a half. I even half dosed myself just because I don’t trust any kind of supplement. I’ve never had a food allergy or skin allergy for that matter. I remember getting hives maybe once with a generic sunscreen years ago? Within two days of taking this product, at half dose mind you and I drank it throughout the day instead of in one shot, I have broken out into full body hives that require Benadryl/antihistamine medication on a daily basis, I am now day 4 after taking the supplement, still breaking out in hives. all over my legs, hands back of shoulders feet and stomach. I have no idea what’s going on. I use collagen supplements on my face. I drink bone broth, intermittently. I’ve never had this issue before. I suffer from chronic rhinitis as I am allergic to plants and seasons. I don’t usually even take an antihistamine product as it’s not that bad. However, after doing some research, I have found that For those of you that have a histamine issue/allergies or anyone constantly taking any kind of anti-histamine products etc, the Bovine collagen in this product will trigger histamine response in the body. Lucky me I get to be the 5% of people that can’t enjoy this product. I highly recommend avoiding purchasing this product If you’re somebody that has any kind of histamine/allergy issue in your body. The review said it was the holy grail, and what I’m going through is not worth, the aggravation. Praying that this doesn’t take weeks to stop. I’m day 4 of looking like this everywhere…

    I love that the cost per serving of this collagen is much lower than the Vital Proteins I typically use. However, this one absolutely does NOT mix easily into things like Vital does. With Vital, I could dumped a scoop in my coffee and it dissolved instantly. Not this one (as seen in photo). I have to use a whisk or frother to get it to dissolve. It also clumps in my yogurt, unlike Vital. And lastly, this brand has incorrect nutrition information. The calories on the back don’t match up to the grams of protein 1g of protein is 4 calories) so 15×4=60 and 11×4=44. Not the 40 and 50 calories they list on the package (although Vital does also do the same, listing 70 calories when it’s actually 76). I also dislike the packaging. Resealable bags rarely reseal fully. Will I buy it again? Maybe, but doubtful. I just don’t care for the clumpy nature of this powder. Maybe I got a bad lot? But I need my collagen to melt into my food and drink.

    This review is basically key points since I have just started using it. I wanted to help out with some key points that could save frustration for those beginning to use this product. First off there is a scoop in the bag, but definitely buried in the fine poofy powder. So I just squeezed the bag from the sides and pushed the powder up and viola there was the scoop. I don’t recommend putting your hand in powder as it has a clingy effect. Second key piece of info is that the scoop according to the mfg. IS an 11g measurement so just fill ONE scoop level and blend into your choice of 8-12oz of hot or cold beverage. Speaking of scoop, if you did not receive said scoop, it is equivalent to 2 and 1/4 ROUNDED teaspoonsfull per mfg. I did measure to test and it was pretty close. As for the mixing of the powder, I recommend using a MINI drink mixer that most people would use for smoothies or protein drinks (if u have one) it just makes it easier to mix without clumps or use a whisk or spoon. The key to no clumps is to poor the powder into 8-12oz of your choice of hot or cold beverage A LITTLE AT A TIME. Mix throughly with whisk or blender between each time you add more powder. Trust me you do not want to try and drink this with clumps. Now for the taste, I mixed mine in 12oz of ice cold water (see pic) and it has very little flavor if any. I can taste only a SLIGHT flavor which reminds me of protein powders. But I mixed in water so I could tell if it was awful and it isn’t at all. If I mixed in juice or coffee or tea I’m sure I wouldn’t taste any of it. So 5 stars for taste. I’ve heard some collagen powders are awful. This isn’t. In the picture you will notice a slight yellow color, that is as yellow as it gets for 12oz. Less water I’m sure more yellow color. I had already had some so the volume you see in the bottle is not the 12oz I started with. I can definitely say I will have no problem drinking this. Another side note, some people said they didn’t get the full 41 servings that it states you should get, I have not reached a point yet to tell if this is accurate however I suggest that if you do buy this, keep a paper taped with the bag (like I am) to put a mark everyday you have some to see exactly how many servings you get so you will know how often to buy it if you continue. Speaking on this point, I did the subscribe and save subscription (free to cancel anytime) and it saved me 5% right off the top. I figured since I can cancel anytime why pay more when I’m just starting out. If I like it and it shows results then I’m already signed up for the auto delivery every two months (most popular option) and if I don’t like it then i at least saved some money off the top and can cancel the auto fill. One last thing I noticed is the powder seems to have a little static electricity thing happening inside the bag, so just be careful when scooping, it might start to cling to your hand or clothes if to close to the powder. It was sticking to my measuring spoon on the outside, kinda weird and cool at the same time. I will update review in 30 days or so to see if I notice a change in hair, skin, nails, wrinkles etc. As for my hair, it will be easy to tell if it helps grow hair faster since I have a nearly shaved head, except for my small spiked mohawk. So I will definitely notice if my hair is growing faster since I know exactly how much hair grows in 4 weeks since I have a regular cut every 3 weeks. The bag has a closure seal to keep it fresh and I don’t think it would transfer easily to another container since it’s like powdered sugar and is “clingy” and poofy. The whole bag would need to go into a different container if necessary. Hope this helps answer some questions that I even had when I started and had to find the answers on my own.     I ordered the unflavored version of this and despite this, it definitely has a flavor, just no extra flavors added in. I tried adding this to just plain water and gagged when I put it in my mouth, and then literally threw up immediately after swallowing it. It turned my water a nasty looking shade of yellow and has a very “animal biproduct’ kind of taste to it. It may be palatable if you mix it with some kind of smoothie or something, but every time I think about trying this again, it makes me nauseous, so I definitely wont be able to try this again even mixed in with something else and I can’t say how helpful is for health benefits because I couldn’t actually drink any of it.

    I just received my collagen yesterday. I just added it to hot tea. It dissolved just fine I actually added it straight to the water a little bit at a time and then let my Tea steep. I cannot say that it is completely tasteless as it has changed the taste slightly, to the tea. However it’s not gross like some people have said. Also there were issues with the measurements of the scoop. I posted a picture that the scoop that came in the bag it’s pretty much 11 g. I also wanted to show in the pictures that the ingredients do contain collagen as listed on the back of the bag in the picture. Also there were other reviews stating this was an imposter brand. However I also did my research on that and the LiveWell brand was changed to live conscious it’s all over Google. I will try to remember to update this review after I have finished the first bag. I am taking it in hopes to regrow my hair lost from stress. Prior to ordering this brand I did my research on what I was looking for and this contains the amino acids and the I&III bovine collagen Update- it definitely made my hair grow faster! I finished one full bag and decided to purchase another one. It did not help my hair to regrow, that has fallen out. But overall it did make me feel better, maybe fuller so I lost a few lbs when I was using it daily. But it does stink! It turns into a gelatin like substance but if you’re drinking hot coffee or tea, it may taste a tad different, but not much.
