   I really like this grass fed whey protein powder, I have never tried this company or any of their flavors before, and kind of took a leap of faith buying the big 71 servings container. I am glad I did! It’s not overly sweet, to me it tastes like hot cocoa powder.. so semi sweet. I usually mix with whole milk. It has 24 g of protein in one scoop, and only 130 calories. The selling point for me is it does not have sucralose or any of those artificial sweeteners, since artificial sweeteners give me headaches and hurts my stomach. Price point isn’t bad, and it’s convenient having it delivered to my door. The protein powder itself mixes very well, and I don’t taste any clumps and also I have tried other protein powders that use Stevia, and usually have a bitter aftertaste.. this one does not have that. I will definitely be ordering this again!

   This is my second container in. Both containers were full. I get the unflavored. Because a lot of reviews saying it was not a full container, I had to take a picture. Guess it’s all the other stuff that’s in the flavored containers causes it to settle. It is airy and fluffy. But it stayed that way through the whole thing, never settled. I partially took the scoop out, then remembered to put it back for picture. 5.6 gr BCAA’s, 18 amino acids. Grass-Fed hormone-free.

   Terrible! Horrible, both the chocolate and vanilla are terrible. They taste like chalk. With that gross smell that makes your stomach turn…. I tried mixing it with hot coffee. It turned into clumps and then I tried the double chocolate in my blender with ice to make like a smoothie type of thing… that’s what it looked like and somehow it tasted even worse…. The chocolate flavor is NON EXISTENT! Just Horrible!!!!! That’s a picture of the chocolate one I blended . I should’ve took a picture of the coffee, but it was so gross that I threw it down the sink. WAIT EDIT ! I tried the vanilla again, but this time I just hand shaked it with water and ice in a shaker cup, i used the ice to agitate instead of the shaker ball mixer thingy…. The vanilla is more more tolerable this way, and seems to blend more evenly with less clumps, but you gotta shake the heck out of it, good arm work out I suppose lol I’m still on the search for a good protein powder… the chocolate still sucked butt regardless of how you make it.

   As a competitive powerlifter and current PhD student, the quality of my protein powder has become of utmost importance to me, both in meeting my macros/calories each day and as a supplement when meat is expensive or I don’t have time to cook. I have tried at least a dozen or so protein powders over the last decade and I have finally found the brand that I will stick with for as long as it is available. The price is EXCEPTIONAL for this high of quality protein powder (mixes great, tastes great, ingredients are great, company transparency is great, amino acid profile is great). I highly recommend this protein to anyone who needs to get more protein in their diet for whatever reason. If you’re curious, I tried the vanilla cinnamon and it’s great. I have probably spent thousands on protein powders (both the expensive, brand-name, fitness influencer discount coded stuff, and the off brand doodoo that tastes like chalk or makes you want to vomit). I even switched to unflavored now sports for a while because I couldn’t stand the horrible inconsistencies between brands. I’ll probably get some of this brand’s unflavored as well for cooking and such. As a final test, I also weighed out a level scoop and it ended up weighing exactly 32 g, just as the label says. I hate when the label lies, this one however, does not. Stop buying junk and stop paying too much for protein powder. This is the one you’ve been scrolling so long for, just try it and if you don’t like it, send it to me. If anything changes between now and my next few tubs, I will be updating my review. Thanks!    I’ve had this on subscribe and save for a couple years. As for the product itself, it’s whey powder: chalky stuff that mixes only with a high-speed blender like my Blendtec. It’s neither better nor worse than competing products, thus the 3-star rating. Unfortunately, the latest item was delivered smashed in on two “sides”, as shown in the included pictures. bestproteinpowder4women.net delivered the item, but when I tried to file a replacement, bestproteinpowder4women.net forced me to contact the manufacturer, Levels, who would not replace the product. Instead, Levels told me to contact bestproteinpowder4women.net, which is what I had tried to do multiple times. I canceled this order because I will not risk being in this situation again. On previous replacement requests, bestproteinpowder4women.net handled it smoothly, so there appears to be a customer support problem with this product. I’m ordering something else in the future.

    I purchased most of the flavors, all of them taste amazing but the magic key is use coconut milk! I tried each flavor with regular milk, water, coconut water and coconut milk… coconut milk is by far the most delicious! The flavors are very pronounced, has a creamy texture, tastes like a milkshake and is easy to digest. With coconut milk all the flavors taste like the flavors they are supposed to be with no after taste… that being said I believe the best flavors are double chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. I drink one 16oz (2 scoops of powder) of this per day and unlike protein powders I’ve had in the past, I have zero issues digesting this… I have a sensitive stomach, other powders would give me stomach aches and indigestion, but I’ve had no issues with this whatsoever… powders I could digest in the past didn’t taste that great either and would be a real hassle to blend, this powder dissolves very easily, doesn’t stick to the bottle! A couple good swings in a shaker bottle and it’s ready to drink I highly recommend this product!

    Updated 01/22/2018 Previously I had given 1 star (see review below) because of what seemed like a change in formulation using bleach and other harsh chemical processes. After some communication with Levels’ staff I am changing my review to 4 stars. They did provide third-party testing (SEE ATTACHED IMAGE) and it shows there are no bleach or heavy metal/toxins in the whey protein. This is great news and I’m very impressed by the level of attentiveness and care with which Levels took to respond to my concerns about using bleach or other chemicals within their formulation. They did acknowledge the change was indeed due to added lecithin to aid in mixability which is perfectly fine and in fact provides Phospholipids which have been shown to be good for brain health. The only reason why I didn’t go all the way to 4 stars was that the communication of the purity of this product needs to be on the package labeling which I’m hoping Levels does consider. Since whey is a commodity product, the primary differentiator for most customers comes down to purity/quality and price. Seeing Levels’ commitment to customer satisfaction was great and I’ll definitely be ordering from Levels again! ——————– (old 2017 Review) I’ve tried every grass-fed whey protein on the market. I was a huge fan originally of Levels Whey Protein, having purchased numerous times and back when they were using the box with the bag instead of the plastic container. Unfortunately Levels is now using ACID/BLEACHING in their process, which completely DESTROYS the useful benefits of Grass-fed whey protein. It would be like eating 5 Snickers bars with your diabetes medication. The BLEACHING completely denatures the protein and DESTROYS all of the beneficial properties of consuming Grass-fed Whey like the Immunoglobulins, CLA, IGF-1 etc. I’ve read some people complaining about a chemical after-taste with the new Levels Whey Protein. That’s because of the new BLEACHING agents they are using to make the protein easier to mix. In the picture I have Levels Whey protein on the left which was before they started using BLEACH and chemical solvents to process their whey protein. On the right is the same flavor but the new Levels Whey which is BLEACHED/ACID chemical solvent protein powder which is much more fine but also STRIPS the benefits of Grass-fed Whey protein. I can no longer recommend purchasing a Grass-fed Whey Protein that uses bleach and other chemical solvents to process their protein. This makes buying grass-fed whey completely USELESS since all of the benefits of consuming grass-fed whey protein are gone. When buying grass-fed whey protein make sure to look for “no bleaching no chemical solvents”as well as “cold processed” and preferably “third-party tested”. I would implore Levels to go back to not bleaching their protein or using any chemical solvents as well as doing third-party testing. Unfortunately the only grass-fed whey that currently uses no bleaching or chemical solvents is Promix Grass-fed Whey protein. I say unfortunately because they are expensive. I just wish either Promix was priced like Levels or Levels was as rigorous about the quality of their protein as Promix.

    I’ve been using this protein for a few years and am overall pleased with its quality. The flavor is pretty good and it’s not packed with extra sugars. I’ve added it to numerous things with satisfying results – protein shakes, coffee, yogurt, etc. Even if you try to mix this slowly by sprinkling it in while mixing it rarely completely dissolves, so expect some small clumps. Otherwise I have no real complaints. The product settles quite noticeably in its packaging (see photo) and may look like you’ve been shorted – but this is normal and the weight is correct (see photos with the container on the kitchen scale).

    First – I love how clean the ingredient list is. Zero crap. They nailed the flavor profile, too. Chocolate & PB is my all time favorite combo and this hits the spot.     This protein powder is one of the best on the market in terms of ingredients, taste and texture. I wanted to do an in-depth review of this product because I’m pretty sure there are plenty of folks like myself who are constantly looking for a healthy great tasting protein supplement without all the “junk” its made with. It’s gets tiresome searching for that one protein powder that hits all the marks (including price point) and at the end of the day, you settle for the powder that has the least amount of sugar (or artificial sweeteners) for a decent price and just forget about it. As long as it tastes good and mixes well, all is good in the valley. I’ve had my share of trolling bestproteinpowder4women.net for that perfect powder, sometimes spending up to an an hour at a time to find one that I can live with long term. I’ve tried tons of different brands and some were awesome while others were not so awesome. Either way, the powders I chose had the least amount of artificial sweeteners and relatively low carbs. The taste and texture were the only elements that separated the good from the bad…that is…until I did a little more research on those “other” ingredients you usually see on labels. You know…..the ones with ingredient names that are nine syllables long and a bit of struggle to pronounce. I can honestly say, I disregarded those other ingredients for a long time as I figured they were just there to make up the composition of the powder. Never bothered with finding out what they actually were. There’s one ingredient I found to be in all the powders I’d been consuming over the years that instantly changed the game for me. And that ingredient is Acesulfame Potassium (or Ace-K). This artificial sweetener is so bad for you healthwise, that it’s actually banned in some countries. It’s 200X sweeter than sugar and, needless to say, spikes your insulin levels ridiculously high and wreaks havoc on your liver. Consuming this ingredient (in any food product for that matter) is basically a health hazard and sadly, it’s found in a majority of those “great tasting” protein powders we love, rant and rave about. This ingredient is most likely the cause of complaints I see about powders being overly sweet. I actually discarded a couple tubs of powder after discovering they both contained Acesulfame Potassium. Not this protein powder. Natural sweeteners like stevia leaf extract, monk fruit, cacao etc. are the best ingredients from a health standpoint (in my opinion). This protein powder is not candy sweet and doesn’t taste what some would call “incredibly delicious” like a liquid dessert but it does offer a mild natural sweet taste that can be modified to suit your taste buds, if you prefer more sweetness. I actually prefer the mild sweet taste from the natural sweeteners because it doesn’t overpower my tase buds with sugar to the point where dopemines are released and it just tastes natural, like I should be drinking this, that it was meant to be. There’s a sense of comfort knowing that your protein drink is optimized for your best health. That’s what this protein powder offers. Just as it says on the label “Nothing Fake. Ever” The texture is very fine, almost dust-like, so it mixes extremely well. Clumps are nonexistent. I got the Chocolate Mocha flavor and let me tell you…the mocha coffee taste is real. Mildly sweet and just a joy to drink alone with almond milk, water, mixed into a smoothie or in your coffee. Compare the ingredients of this powder to the article of ingredients you find on most other powders and ask yourself the obvious. I’ll say it again, this powder is the real deal in every aspect from the cost to the texture to the taste to the ingredients. I highly recommend. The most important takeaway from this is whether you decide on this powder or another, just make sure whatever you choose doesn’t contain Acesulfame Potassium. Your health will thank you later.     As someone that does both intermittent fasting and weight training, I find it to sometimes be difficult to get enough protein in my system to feel like I’m enabling my body to heal from the wear and tear that I put it through. I decided to start supplementing my meals with additional protein to cover the shortfall, originally starting with a pea protein. That didn’t taste great and in doing further research it also seemed to fall a bit short on the amino acids, so I decided to make the switch to whey. I was pleasantly surprised with Levels Whey Protein. It mixes pretty well, though it does foam up a bit more than I like, so I let it sit for a couple of minutes after shaking which solves the problem. I initially tried it with water and I wasn’t a huge fan of the taste, but after mixing it with milk I think I found a winner. It is a bit on the sweet side for me, almost like a milkshake, but my taste buds have adapted and I actually look forward to it after my meal. It’s become my healthy desert option. Between intermittent fasting and a fair amount of cardio, I had been steadily losing weight for a few months. I’m actually at the point that I don’t want to lose any more weight, and since getting onto the protein shakes, it’s helped to stabilize my weight at a good level. I’m glad I found this product, and would highly recommend it to others.

    I am a loyal Promix user. I love Promix’s Whey (Raw Chocolate) and their Casein product. When I scrolled down to reorder another Promix, I saw Levels – and compared the ingredients… nearly identical, except for sweetener – AND $20 CHEAPER! ORDER LEVELS PLEASE. So… I got it yesterday and am already 3 protein shakes in with my new Levels protein powder. What I like – simple, clean ingredients. Mixes just as well as my Promix. Wayyy more protein per gram than Promix (i.e. a recommended 37g of Promix powder yields only 25g of protein, while a recommended serving of 30g of Levels powder yields 24g of protein!) love that ratio! What I… dislike? Hate? Find eh… the sweetener. After being spoiled with Promix’s raw Peruvian cacao, I am sensitive to any b.s. sweetener like stevia or other crap. The Lelvels sweetener just doesn’t taste right – the monkey/stevia sweet or whatever it’s called. For those who are used to more subtle, real natural sweeteners (not extracts), they will find this the biggest hurdle. Conclusion – would I make the switch? Idk. I really LOVE the price point, cleanliness, and protein to serving ratio… but to ingest something whose taste I find unpalatable for 2x a day, forever? Am I willing to make that sacrifice? Maybe I’ll get used to it? I know there is an Unflavored Levels whey protein, BUT then I gotta shell out more money to make it naturally sweet myself, maybe breaking even with Promix? I’ll obviously keep the Levels and commit to finishing it, it is definitely drinkable, just a taste issue for me! The jury’s out – I truly hope Levels can make a non-Stevia, non-Extract sweetener, even if it’s a few bucks more… they’re so close! Will update after I finish one container again – in the meanwhile, order one and see for yourself!

    I have some concerns because I couldn’t find any online platform to view third-party reports for my lot number. Consequently, I reached out to Levels requesting the reports, but they refused, stating that the reports are confidential. I find it quite perplexing that they advertise their products as clean, free of fillers, and regularly tested for heavy metals, yet they deem the reports confidential when requested. I’m puzzled about what could be confidential in these reports, especially since their supplement is consumed by people. Due to this, I’ve decided not to purchase from them again and would advise others to do the same unless they become more transparent. The primary reason I chose this protein was because of their cleanliness claims.
