   Price is subjective but this came with a bit of sticker shock for me. But I’ll be if it didn’t produce a deliciously thick and creamy milkshake flavor and mouthfeel. You can look at the supplemental and nutritional values and see that this is good, but the taste and mouthfeel is what set it apart! As someone who has tried a lot of powders, price aside, this one is one of my favorites.

   I had a problem of gaining weight around my menses would otherwise be doing great in my weight loss goals. It helped with my chocolate cravings. Blended with a blender, no chalky taste this is worth buying if you are serious about replacing some of your meals with a great tasting shake!

   I’m surprised they named this “The Curse” and added aggressive imagery and marketing. It’s actually one of the easiest powders to mix, and it’s incredibly mild in taste. It is a relatively standard vanilla with a dash of cream and zero aftertaste. Sometimes with other brands I get a post-shake headache, which I didn’t experience with this single serving (not a large sample size). It is way better than Dymatize and other highly rated vanilla powders. I’m bummed this is so expensive (2lb for $38 on their site with no larger options) because it means I’ll have to continue drinking worse-tasting protein.

   My son likes to use protein powder for a quick shake before working out or going to hockey practice. He tried JNX Sports The Curse! whey protein powder today for the first time and loved it! He said that the powder dissolved very easily in water and the vanilla bean flavor tasted great. He was bummed that it was just a single serving sample and he is asking for more.     This protein tastes really good, has good macros and is priced well. However, there is sucralose in the ingredient list and that is a “chemical” which destroys your gut biome.
