It cost more than if I picked it up down the street.

Okay.
I purchased this for muscle gain, I’ve been using various whey powders for the last 2 years. Initially I purchased this because it was hydrolyzed, I wanted a protein powder that would be easier on my stomach and didn’t cause as much acne. Every powder I’ve ever had I did not use for the taste, I’d just shoot them like a shot and for this reason was a chore for me. I purchased the cocoa pebbles and let me tell you! It tastes exactly like the milk from the cereal when made with WATER! I look forward to getting a protein shake now and have already made hot cocoa with it. It hasn’t been long enough to see if it affects my skin like the others have, but it has caused my zero gastrointestinal problems. A+ product 🤗

The best protein out there I love the flavour

The first chocolate protein I’ve bought ( and I’ve bought quite a few over the years) that doesn’t have ” the aftertaste”. Ya know, that chalky, thick, milk blandness under the initial flavor that’s not terrible, but definitely there. NOT. IN. THIS….it tastes like straight choco-chunk milk, not so much Coca pebbles ( for me personally) but more like you took the dry Chocolate Nestle Quick mix ( you know where it’s going) and you poured about 1 cup of milk in yo glass, took a spoon, grabbed some choco powder goodness, and let that spoon sit in the milk till the bubbles stopped and she’s ready for you, and you had the most glorious gooey ( horrible for you) chocolate fudge Nesquick. Eventually that milk turns into 80% chocolate and 10% milk, and this protein tastes like that. Soooooo for all you other “grown-ups” who share the fond childhood memories of this, it’s tha bomb. If you liked the Strawberry Nesquick, you’re wrong and we can’t be friends.

I was hopeful to find a chocolate protein powder to mix with my hot coffee to add protein and reduce sugar intake but once again this brand and flavor didn’t work for me. I first tried it with just hot coffee but the protein powder separated and didn’t blend leaving chunks of powder with every drink I took. Gross🤮! So I tried again mixing the powder in 3oz of cold fairlife milk to get it in a creamy consistency state and then adding it to hot coffee but the taste was awful. Another protein powder in the trash because I actually hate protein shakes and will never use it for that, back to finding something with protein and less sugar to replace creamer for my hot coffee. 🤪

Sickly sweet (artificial) taste. Yea it tastes like coco pebbles (if you added about 20 stevia packets to the milk). Way too overly sweet. Other than that it’s fine.
Edit 6mo later:Got used to it? Taste fine now. So either somehow the part I first tasted was stronger with the sweetener, or I adjusted. Bumped up a star, but I’d like a flavor less sweet on the artificial sweetener for people on keto who find most things overly sweetened.
Edit edit*
I was a noobie at the time of this. Don’t get protein with BCAAs. Anyone that’s not a vegan gets enough of these from normal meats. The abundance will cause premature balding/receding. Protein powder is protein powder. Get the best bang for your.l buck without detrimental gimmick add ons like bichain amino acids, unless you like the baldie look.

I have tried coco pepples, chocolate peanut butter, Carmel and Cookies and Cream.
All mix well some better than other but all better than any other brand I have tried.
All taste great expect cookies and cream which doesn’t taste bad its just not the best I wouldn’t buy that flavor again.
I need to be lactose free an i have no problems with this protein.
Also have never seen any bugs i don’t know what other people are talking about.
The ceasin is all good but doesn’t mix as well but better than other ceasin protein.

Good product and easy to drink. You can just drink it with cold water. The flavour is good. It’s easy to absorb and recover the energy quickly. Recommend!

I’ve used the regular chocolate flavor but this by far is way better to me. Whip it up w super cold milk of your choice and it is thick and tastes so much like a Frosty. Easy way for me to get that last bit of protein for the day!

I am on an extremely high lean-protein diet. I drink a LOT of protein shakes. Many shakes do NOT taste good (especially only made with water). I am SO glad I found this one! It tastes just like Cocoa Pebbles cereal milk and is not overly sweet like many other brands. I like that Dymatize also has lower lactose levels than other brands so it’s easier on my stomach. It blends really well in a blender shaker bottle or blender. My friend likes to add a scoop to her morning coffee instead of a typical sugary creamer and she said it’s amazing! I’ve been drinking 4 scoops of this flavor every day for a month and I am not sick of it (which says a lot for me!). I highly recommend if you are looking for a good chocolate flavor.

As someone who was raised on Fruity Pebbles, it’s baffling to me how much the flavor tastes just like it. 5 stars alone for the taste, I can’t speak on the quality of the protein as I haven’t noticed any difference otherwise from some of the other brands i’ve tried. The Cocoa Pebbles version is garbage though tastes like your average chocolate protein shake, nothing like the cereal flavor.

Just little bit too sweet for me but everything else was good
