Just from opening the tub I could tell that some moisture had gotten into the powder, very clumpy texture, was hoping that a shaker would break it up but it does not, feels like drinking oatmeal even after 5 mins of shaking. Also very bland flavour, terrible product.

Taste is alright, have definitely had other protein with much better and distinguished taste as this chocolate cake flavour is pretty muted.
Mixing is also interesting, I find it dissolves good enough but it mixes REALLY foamy which I am no a fan of.
I’ve pretty much moved away from drinking this protein to just mixing it with Greek yogurt as the foaming is intolarable for me.
Overall its one of those you get what you pay for kind of things so take it for what it’s worth.

I bought this to use in a keto chocolate cake recipe from an American recipe site. The product recommended by the recipe creator is not available in Canada. I wanted a chocolate protein powder that did not contain whey because of lactose intolerance. This worked in the recipe beautifully. The only down side is that the plastic container is huge (as big as my head!) but is only 2/3 full. I decanted it into two gallon ziploc bags because it wouldn’t fit in my cabinets. If I were planning to use it daily for a protein smoothie, I’d consider a more durable storage solution.
