This is a pretty above-par protein powder. It’s not just whey protein with some artificial flavoring and sweetener. It contains several forms of whey protein, including egg white protein. On top of that, there is MCT oil powder in it and chromium. One scoop = 12g of protein. The flavor is decent – vanilla custard. It is a bit thicker and richer than other protein powders I have, but no biggie; just add water. All in all this is a good, albeit expensive protein powder.

I’ve tried numerous different protein powders over the past few years and the number one thing a good protein powder needs in the end is taste. If the powder tastes bad, you won’t want to consume it which defeats all purpose.

I’m happy to report the taste of this powder is pretty good. Not amazing, but not bad by any means. I am more than willing to just mix this with some water and milk for a quick shake. Where with some other protein powders I have to mix with fruits to mask bad flavor.

In addition, I have no issues with mixability. There is no graininess when drinking the powder. I also quite like the different mixes of protein to touch on quick to slow absorbing proteins. As someone who is not a body builder, this might easily be a gimmick, but variety is nice.

Lastly, the value for the money is… not quite there. This is super expensive. Only one pound for, at the moment, fifty dollars! Wow!
