   I ordered this product for my wife. She usually gets her collagen from making her own beef broth, but wanted something to take during times when she does not have any broth available. The tub was sealed well and not too hard to open. She had her first dose with warm coffee. The powder mixed well. Although there was a very slight taste to the powder, it was very light and did not make the coffee less enjoyable. She is pleased with this product. Conclusion: At $32, rating this 5-stars.

   This is a good collagen powder with a nice lineup of amino acids. If you are not familiar with collagen, do some research first. There are different sources and some have added features, but Vitamin C is something the collagen needs for transport in the body. So if you’re brand doesn’t include it, you’ll need to take a supplement with the powder for best results. That being said , there are a dozen equally good products online, many at a lower price. Also there are some that don’t use all the plastic ( 🙈🙈🙈 so much plastic! ) but ship in a bag form instead .That’s my pet peeve. Anyway, it’s a good collagen , no complaints on the product , but shop around and research too.

   While this collagen peptides product is unflavored, that does not mean it has no flavor. There is mild flavor notes that are typical of collage products. However, when mixed with other ingredients that have flavors, this product disappears into the background, with reasonably no aftertaste. I mixed it into my afternoon cup of coffee, to get another boost of protein/collagen, along with some mushroom powder. If I didn’t put this product into the coffee myself, I wouldn’t even know it was there. I am impressed that besides the hydrolyzed bovine collagen, the ingredients include: hyaluronic acid, ascorbic acid, biotin and zinc. The Nutritional Facts indicates that a 11.226 gram serving provides 11 g Bovine collagen peptides (10g protein), 50mg Hyaluronic Acid, 50mg Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), 5000mcg Biotin, 5mg Zinc. And, just as importantly: Zero Total/Saturated Fats and Zero Carbohydrates (no sugars) and only 40 calories. Truly appreciate the zero figures for fats and carbs, especially the sugars. I also like that this product has 40 servings, more than a month’s supply. The product has a number of certifications/badges adorning the label. Keto, Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free, No Maltodextrin, Zero Net Carbs, BPA Free, Made In USA, Non-GMO, FDA registered facility, GMP, Third Party Tested for Purity and Potency. The last three badges are very important to me, they indicate concern and consideration regarding the purity and integrity of the ingredients and processes. Excellent. These check off very important badges/certifications for me. This product fully matches the descriptions and pictures in the product details. I feel it is an excellent collagen peptides supplement, with extra goodies (Biotin, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C & Zinc). As such, it merits a 4.75 – 5 star rating, with a very high level recommendation.

    Love this product!! I very tried it in coffee and smoothies and it hasn’t altered the taste either. It dissolves wonderfully. I felt a difference in my joints the 2nd morning.     This is a odorless, tasteless collagen peptide product. I mix mine with coffee in the morning it makes the consistency of my coffee taste richer and creamier. They recommended Jose is 80% of the scooper so don’t overfill. I used to drink a lot of bone broth and find that adding a simple scoop to my coffee is much easier than cooking bones for seven hours on the stove! I was quite ill last year and I believe wholeheartedly this collagen product has helped me recover.
    My pain is minimized ands my skin and nails look great. This is an amazing value for the money although you must mix in a room temperature solution to dissolve if you would like to have it with a cold beverage I think that is a small concession for those who would prefer to add this to their water or some other cold beverage. I personally love having it in my morning coffee and wouldn’t have it any other way. Try it you won’t be disappointed.     I use this all the time to make sure that I am getting the nutrients I need as I get older to keep my bones strong and healthy. I subtracted a star because the manufacturer states it’s best to use this in hot liquids. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!! I originally put it in my hot tea and it would not dissolve no matter how long I mixed it – even with a hand blender. I now mix this with my morning protein shake powder and I have not had any problems since.

    I’ve tried many different brands of hydrolyzed bovine collagen, and this looks, smells, and tastes like the rest. Unlike the rest, it has some extra nutrients added: one scoop (about 11 g) has 10 g of protein from the collagen (like other brands) plus 50 mg of hyaluronic acid, 56% of your daily vitamin C, 45% of your daily zinc, and a ridiculous 16,667% of your daily biotin. Those are good amounts of protein, hyaluronic acid, C, and zinc, but why so much biotin? Biotin deficiency is rare. While a biotin deficiency can cause problems with skin, hair, and nails, most skin, hair, and nail problems aren’t caused by biotin deficiency. In the unlikely event that any particular person’s skin, hair and nail problems are caused by biotin deficiency, that deficiency can be corrected with much lower doses of biotin. At least this high dose of biotin isn’t known to cause health problems, but I can’t find any reputable medical source saying it does any good. Many companies are selling massive doses of biotin, and claiming that it does great things, but these claims are unsupported by evidence. Anyway, this is mostly collagen. I know that people say that collagen has no taste, but I find that this brand, like other brands of bovine collagen, has a slightly beefy scent and flavor and mild umami taste, like MSG. The glutamic acid in it is the same as the glutamic acid in MSG, but without the sodium, so it makes sense that it enhances savory foods the same way. The label suggests adding it to your favorite beverages. I guess that works if your favorite beverages are savory broths. Beefing up soup with extra protein and umami flavor makes much more sense to me than adding it to, say, fruit juice. Here’s a photo of it in plain hot water, before I added other ingredients to make soup. The powder completely dissolves, leaving the broth perfectly clear, and enhancing the meaty, satisfying taste. See how it looks similar to beef broth? It tastes similar too, but without the salt. Used like this, it isn’t a supplement to tolerate, it’s a food to enjoy. So, I’ll give it five stars since it’s as good as other brands of collagen, and the hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and zinc are nice additions. It’s not worth paying extra for all this biotin, though.

    Intentionally bear collagen peptides powder is an excellent product and an excellent value! Many protein powders price out at $1.50-250 per serving. This one prices out at less than a dollar per serving and yet, it’s an excellent product! It is all natural and gluten-free. collagen peptides, biotin, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and zinc… Great combo! And I really love that this is truly tasteless! The directions on the top did mention that it may not mix into a cold product as easily without clumping. For that reason I took a couple ounces of warm water and mixed it with my powder, then topped off my water bottle with cold water. That worked beautifully and the product was completely dissolved with no problems. I’m really happy with this product and I would definitely recommend it!
