   This is the second sort of vegan collagen product I’ve tried (other was based off some sort of mushroom), and gotta say this one tastes heaps better then the one from the other brand, I couldn’t stomach that one, BUT this one although not amazing it tastes pretty okay and I’ll be able to finish drinking what I’ve chosen to put it in. It will noticably change the taste of whatever you’re drinking, so maybe sample it in a portion of what you plan to mix it in to make sure you’ve got the right food/drink to compliment it best.

   I’ve been using bovine collagen for a while. I’ve always been surprised at claims that bovine collagen has no flavor, since to me it has a strong flavor that’s about what you’d expect from dissolved animal parts. I like it in soup, but it wouldn’t work at all in sweet things like smoothies. This vegan collagen powder alternative is very different. First, it has none of that dissolved animal smell or flavor. Instead it has a pleasant, nutty, grainy sort of smell and flavor. I mixed a scoop of this powder with ¼ cup of water. It mixed easily, not clumping, resulting in wet powder. It didn’t dissolve at all. Bovine collagen doesn’t dissolve well in cold water either, so I tried microwaving this mix to see if it would dissolve, but no, that just made hot wet powder. Bovine collagen dissolves easily in hot water, making a perfectly clear broth, but this doesn’t dissolve at all. So, I had this bowl of hot wet powder. I tasted some. It had a really great nutty, grainy flavor, but the texture wasn’t enjoyable. It’s just lots of little particles that get stuck in the back of my throat. I sprinkled a little cinnamon on top and ate it like a pudding, enjoying the flavor, but not the texture. I think the texture of this powder would make it a bad addition to drinks. It might work in baked goods as a substitute for some of the flour. I’m taking off one star for the texture, which prevents it from being a good substitute for bovine collagen. Great flavor though. I hope I can figure out some recipe for this that takes advantage of the flavor, but makes the texture tolerable.

   The title is from Austin powers Anna it does taste but and I like the texture, flavor, and consistency.
   I use it to help my body repair itself and to stay young.
   I really enjoy this product and highly recommend it.
   Collagen is almost never vegan, but this one mixes extremely well with as spoon or fork, it tastes good, I don’t feel any bloating or gas build up and its a light consistency not heavy (like when you drink animal protein and feel weighed down)

   I’m not super crazy about the flavor, but I do like the benefits , thus far. I’m used to using collagen, but I never tried one with the extras added to this one. Plus, it’s vegan too! I get a lot of aches and pains. My muscles and joints seem to be easily fatigued, and waking up with pain is ZERO fun, especially when you feel 1/2 your age! I notice an improvement in how I feel, I think more so than the popular brand I was using before trying this, and I have been using for about 2 or 3 years now. Shhh! But I’d love to see some skin and body results. Maybe I’m building a tad more tone with my workouts, but not the way I used to years ago, but overall I FEEL younger. I think it takes more time to see that, but my hair is definitely growing faster than ever. Not thicker, but definitely longer! My nails seem to be, also. I’d give this 4 stars! (4.25 if I could.) It may take a bit more time for total newbies, but It’s surely worth a try! I’m not a fully new woman yet, but it definitely does something, and that’s a great start!!

    This is a great vegan source of protein and many essential amino acids. It’s great for my Keto diet because it has 11 grams of protein per serving but almost no carbs. I like it’s flavor and it’s very easy to take. I mix it in my coffee, or in tea or water or I add it to yogurt. It allows me to easily control how much protein I consume every day !

    I’m in the midst of switching over to a plant-based diet and was looking for alternatives to the collagen peptides I’ve been using. I found this and so far, so good! I tried mixing it alone with almond milk at first and, while it was drinkable…I understand what some of the other reviews mean about the taste. I now combine it with other seeds (hemp, flax) and a plant-based protein powder in an almond milk “shake” and I don’t notice the taste at all! Just ordered my 2nd bag!

    I don’t know why there’s so many negative reviews about this stuff. I guess it depends on what you’re trying to mix it with. I mix a scoop with almond milk, pb powder and a banana and it taste good.
