It has a natural flavor like cocoa powder and 0 cal sweetener. It’s definitely different from what I’ve tried in the past and might take some getting used to. Not my absolute favorite, but not bad at all. The scoop is huge and it mixes well with cold water and almond milk, which is absolutely a plus. All I can say is WOW! This is going to be my new go to for protein powder.
I have Crohns Disease and have many allergies/sensitivities. It is often hard to eat solids and absorb nutrients properly, so shakes are easier on the gut & easier to absorb. I have tried many plant based protein powders and have yet to find one that doesn’t hurt my stomach. Most are made with pea protein, stevia, probiotics, and other ingredients in which can be harsh on the gut.
