The first time I took it was with milk and it was very thick. If you’re not used to monk fruit then the taste may be a bit weird but I liked the dark chocolate flavor. I mixed it with water next and it wasn’t as thick and the chocolate taste wasn’t as strong. So, it’s really up to your taste buds in choosing which way to mix it. If you do use something like Soy Milk then this will keep you full for a few hours but if you want to use it after a workout then it’s probably best to use water. I’m not as full when I use water but I do love that option because it makes it easy to pack and take with you.

I have tried many protein powders. This one is a bit different in how it tries to be a healthier protein powder than many others. In a 42 gram serving, there are 21g of protein – for a protein powder, this is relatively low. There are only 14 servings in this container, as it is a bit smaller than some other powders. Given this, the protein powder is a bit more expensive than most others. However, it does taste quite good and I enjoy it in my oatmeal in the mornings. It has 13g of total carbs, with 8g being fiber, which is unusual for a protein powder but could be helpful to those who need more fiber. I like that this protein powder has no added sugar and does not use soy protein. If you are looking for a health-conscious protein powder that tastes pretty good, then you shouldn’t go wrong with this protein powder. For me, I like higher concentrations of protein, so I give it 4/5 stars.

Like some other reviews have said it looks like they used amino acids to artificially inflate the protein content so you’ll probably want to use more powder to get a decent amount of complete protein from the whey, but since they don’t list the exact percentages of whey to amino acids per servings I would stay away.
Otherwise, it tastes fine and mixes well like most whey powders do.
