I want to write this review to keep others from making the mistake of purchasing this product. This has to be the grittiest whey protein I’ve ever tried. It has more of the consistency of a plant protein, except not as thick and the grit isn’t as large. It reminds me of coffee creamer, except that is doesn’t dissolve in warm liquid (yep, I tried it). I got through it, not wanting to waste my money, but I definitely won’t be repurchasing. It has a mild enough flavor, not awesome and not terrible. It’s the texture that really ruins it for me. I’m very active and drink proteins powders too often to want to chug my protein shake every time I drink it. I like the idea of it being grass fed and all the other wonderful qualities listed, it just isn’t a good execution of those ideas. It also makes me bloat a bit, and most lactose free isolates don’t. I’m not particularly lactose sensitive either, at least not in my normal milk consumption.

I tried this whey protein because it was Grass fed and because I really believe this small company is dedicated to health & genuinely good products. It was great! I used to drink Garden of Life’s Raw Meal but quit because of the soy (although the soy is fermented) but still would rather avoid it altogether.

The texture of this protein powder is superior to anything I have tried before. Most of the powders are grainy or have a rough texture. This one is smooth and makes great shakes and is also easily assimilated into muffins and breads. It blends well with other ingredients and does not clump up.
Best thing though is that it comes from grass fed cows and not ones that are subject to antibiotics and chemicals which are passed along to us via the “food chain”. Guy Evans, in partnership with Kyle Drew, really knows his stuff and I trust his company to provide me with the highest quality products at reasonable prices. Wish they were available in health food stores locally, however, it usually takes less than a week to get them via bestproteinpowder4women.net and the price is right. Not sure why the chocolate flavor is less expensive than the vanilla though.
I highly recommend any and all of BioActive Nutrient’s products.

This product is wonderful!!!! Smooth as silk, extremely tasty and ultra nutritious!! I use almond milk with it. It has many more nutrients (amino acids that our bodies need) than most whey isolates. It doesn’t over load the body with too much protein either. Too much protein at one time is very hard on the kidneys. So I can easily have my meals and one or two of these drinks a day. It also curbs my appetite. It has Stevia in it and it comes from grass feed cows, also no hormone and antibiotic free. It’s great!!! Makes me feel more balanced inside my body and mentally complete after I drink it. I can really feel the difference.
