   I got this for my husband , who is very underweight but has trouble eating enough to maintain his weight let alone gain any. This came in a huge container. One serving equals four scoops and the scoops are large. I’ve been giving my husband two scoops a day, mixed in milk. I tried using three scoops but he had trouble finishing it. I use an immersion blender to mix this, but a whisk will work as well. The taste is not bad, but ii is very sweet. My husband isn’t wild about the taste but he doesn’t l mind it. To be fair, he’s not overly fond of any of the powders or nutritional shakes he’s tried, but it’s the only way to ensure his weight remains stable. I’m really hoping this will help him put on a couple of pounds. It seems high quality and has a very high protein content, which is important. I think this is a great product for anyone struggling to gain weight, particularly muscle.

   This is a big six pound bottle of protein mix, some people use weights with less heft than this ole boy. The mix makes a thick sweet shake. I mix mine with whole milk, with a spoon. So I still get some unmixed chunks since I mix it with a spoon, but I’m ok with that. If you want yours smooth, you will need use something like a whisk, shaker or blender to mix it. I haven’t tried that, but I suspect it will mix much more smoothly that way. My photos show the product in the bottle and in an unmixed state. It is a fine powder. The flavor is pretty good, with whole milk it has the consistency of a milkshake. It is pretty sweet too, I personally wouldn’t mind if it were a little less sweet and perhaps didn’t contain sucralose. Overall, this seems like a quality product and packs in a lot of protein and other nutrients in it and I am happy with it.

   This container of protein powder is massive! For servings, it says each one is 70 grams of protein but I think that’s a little misleading because that’s 4 very large scoops of powder. If you want a standard size protein shake, one scoop is plenty and that’s only 17.5 grams of protein, which is a little low given the size of the scoop. Other powders I’ve had are usually 30 gr of protein at that same scoop size. The flavor is nice and it blends up with ice or frozen bananas really well.

   This mass gainer is ok. It’s hard to drink as a single drink, so usually my husband breaks it into two separate servings, using half of the amount of powder in each drink (1 drink, twice a day). I’ve tried it and the flavor is ok, but definitely more just sweet than cookies and cream flavor. It does what it is supposed to- which is help keep calories up.

   Upon first glance, this is a good mass gainer. The macros are good for weight gain and the quality seems good. The cookies and cream flavor has little cookie bits in it which is a nice tough. However, this is just way too sweet for me. It also didn’t mix well at all, whether in a blender bottle or a frother. That’s just one scoop, I imagine it would be much harder with the full 4 scoop serving. This is probably best in a blender as a smoothie.

   If you’re looking for an easy way to get a lot of calories with pretty high protein, this is an amazing solution. To keep it short, there’s one thing I took a star off for – and that was size to price ratio. For the price of $70 right now, you get 10 servings, which works out to $7 per serving. That’s a lot, but remember, a serving is 4 whopping scoops, and the serving has 1040 calories in it. There are some other brands out there that have a similar price but deliver more powder with more calories – something to keep in mind. However, this stuff is actually amazing too. I would pick this if you want really good flavor, especially with cookies and cream. This stuff tastes great to me. It does taste like cookies and cream, and it even has little chocolate “Oreo” type cookie bits in there that help with flavor and texture. Not to mention, this stuff mixes really well – I did one of the huge scoops and thought that the liquid wasn’t that thick! With enough milk/water, you could definitely use multiple scoops with no problem. Now, onto nutrition. This definitely has a lot of ingredients – this is something I’m not usually a fan of, as I think less is more. But, the ingredients don’t seem too bad to me, as I can recognize most, but still, less is more. There’s only 2 grams of added sugar per serving – this is quite low! Also, there is 70 grams of protein per serving – this works out to 17.5 grams per scoop. You can think of it as a protein powder with a ton of extra calories to help gain mass. Now, it does have a good bit of saturated fat which I don’t like, at 4 grams per serving – but this is only a gram per scoop. Overall, this is really good and I plan on going through the whole thing. I want to gain weight, and I certainly think this can help me get there. The only main downside is the expensive price, but it certainly is good quality. I have to give it 4/5 stars, but it is dang close to a 5. Would recommend.
