   Apparently this is a known quality brand to many that has a good reputation. My first time trying it though. It’s a pretty small container of this protein for the price at just over a pound of powder. AT the current price it works out to around $2.66 per serving, so that seems a little steep to me. But it is grass fed they say, so maybe worth the extra to some, I don’t know. The taste & mixing was fine. The only other thing I didn’t really like is there was no real listing of the actual ingredients. …They list some “other ingredients” but there’s no listing that just says “Ingredients” & lists them. I mean I guess it’s just Whey protein, but I just like to know EXACTLY whats in whatever I’m consuming. They put a lot of weird ingredients in some of these protein mixes these days & I like an ingredients list on the container. Otherwise, the protein amount per serving is good, but not great at 20 grams per serving. I really like at least about 24 or more grams of protein in my powders, but still not too bad @ 20G. Seems to be a good product. I’d like to see ALL the ingredients listed though.

   Garden of Life always does me well with their products. I noticed this Whey Protein (I usually shoot for whey instead of plant based protein because of how it affects my stomach) had extra bonuses like collagen, etc. to aid other body functions instead of just purely being a protein supplement. I’ve been using it in smoothies and I love it. The container is fairly small though, so I can’t imagine it lasting too long

   This is the best protein powder ever—20g of protein for 1 scoop….But the giant tub is only 3/4 full every time, so it only lasts me 3 weeks if I do 1 full scoop everyday. I wish I didn’t have to order this every 2 weeks, once a month would be ideal!

    This is pretty nice protein powder. I’m a guy, but I feel like this product is geared more towards women since it’s got the extra added collagen. Collagen is becoming a common addition to protein powder because it has positive effects on your skin. Since I’m a guy, I’m not supposed to worry about stuff like that, but I also find that the older I get the more I notice the sag. I may be imagining things but after using this for about a week I think I noticed improvements in the way my bottom eyelids looked. Otherwise, this is a very decent protein. When interesting thing about this project is that it contains 0 grams of fat. It ends up being 80% protein by calories, which is awesome. The flavor is pretty good. It’s not a five-star flavor because of a slightly odd after taste, but it’s not enough to take a star off. The powder itself is medium grained, which means it doesn’t stick together at all and pours out nicely. It’s one of the nicest I’ve had in a long time and doesn’t make anything like a big mess. It doesn’t stick to the scoop or anything else. That part is terrific. The negative, if there is one, is that mixing this powder in a shaker makes it very, very foamy. Like, a lot of foam. It’s not quite as bad as “clear” protein foam, but almost. It takes a minute or so for it to settle down enough to drink. Otherwise, you’ll be burping up vanilla burps for an hour or more. So, in spite of the foam and the slightly strange after taste, I still choose to give this product five stars. It’s got a nice nutrition profile and that makes up for the slight inconvenience.

    I’ve been trying different whey powders to give myself some variety in flavors and price. This brand was awful, didn’t taste good AT ALL. The only reason I gave it two stars is because I really like that they give you a detailed description of the ingredients and whey quality. That being said the taste is equivalent to chalk, its just not good. If you want solid quality and can stomach terrible tasting things, go for it. If taste means something to you, try another brand.

    I’m very familiar with Garden of Life and believe it to be a trustworthy, high quality product. It was originally suggested to me by a personal trainer years ago and I’ve used their products regularly. I was interested in this product because it was grass fed whey, which I imagine would be healthier. I also liked it because of the addition of collagen, which I’m trying to add to my diet as I get older. As usual, the powder mixes well with water, milk or almond milk, even when the liquid is cold. I also found the taste to be pleasant. Overall, very happy with this product.

    You can’t go wrong with Garden Of Life and it’s so awesome to have a great fed product with Garden of Life. This is my first time actually taking Whey and I don’t care for GMO products so this is perfect to take for a supplement in protein. Love it!
