1. Why I chose to try this gainer powder Verified Buyer – 3 May 2024

   A friend suggested this after I spent 3 days sore after leg day when I mentioned looking for a more natural protein powder. When I ordered it, I didn’t realize how HUGE it was, which made me feel better about the price when it arrived. It’s going to last a while, for sure! I mix it with milk and add BCAA. Good flavor and nowhere near as much soreness anymore! My student athlete uses it too, which is why I was looking for something more natural. Gave 4 ⭐️ instead of 5 because it took a long time to dissolve without leaving a powder taste and the packaging is somewhat difficult to reseal after opening, but great other than that!

   This is the only vegan protein powder I will buy. I have learned this year that dairy really makes my stomach crampy(I have chronic IBS) so I have avoided milk based products, and of course most protein products out there are milk based. I am also allergic to soy protein isolate, so that’s a no-go for me. I searched high and low for a good vegan alternative and the ones I’ve tried before are nasty, bitter, or gritty. This powder is NOT the case in any of those. I am super happy with it. No grittiness, tastes delicious and isn’t gritty. I got the vanilla flavor, and do one scoop with 12oz almond milk, half cup of peanut butter, and a teaspoon of honey plus a few ice cubes. Blend and it’s PERFECT(and a little over 700cal). I am 5’4” and 105 lb and have always had a hard time gaining weight, but since I’m now at the end of my first bag I can say I’ve definitely seen a change in my body for the first time in years, and I am an active weight lifter and equestrian. When I bought it a month ago, it was $52, and just saw the price raised to $62. I think this is a little excessive, even being imported from Ontario, but since I have no other option I will keep buying it.

   I love this stuff. First let me say I have a really really sensitive stomach. If I even look at some foods wrong I get diarrhea. So I was worried about this because of some of the reviews but it’s fine, no issues whatsoever. I read someone said it is like sand, not sure about that I thought it was actually pretty smooth.

   So it tastes nothing like vanilla like not even a hint of it. It tastes more like green tea ice cream I would say.

   Also it should be noted I only take half the serving. It’s still 21 grams of protein. The full serving requires a ton of water and I think it’s just a little to much.

   But overall I’m really happy with the ingredients and taste!
